Frustrating news for ‘Days of Our Lives’ fans. ‘DOOL’ repeat episodes are being dropped from the POP TV network. ‘DAYS’ can still be seen on NBC, NBC.com, and the NBC app, but the show is leaving POP.
POP TV axed ‘DAYS’ same-day repeat episodes and you can bet low ratings are to blame. At the time of publication, no official word on when POP will air its final episode of ‘Days of Our Lives’ had been given. The network began running a banner with the announcement during the airing of the April 11 repeat episode.
Most fans depend on POP for their ‘DOOL’ soap opera fix. A common protest to POP TV dropping ‘DAYS’ was the fact that breaking new often interrupts the show, and the network was there to help ‘Days of Our Lives’ fans catch up on whatever they missed. How will the network dropping same-day repeats impact you?
Fans of the NBC app give us hope. Most users prefer the app versus the POP TV network. App enthusiasts praise a better picture quality, so ‘DOOL’ fans will definitely have to check it out!

‘Days of Our Lives’ isn’t the only soap to suffer in a recent ratings drop. The first week of March saw a general dive in viewership. According to the Nielsen Live Plus Same Day ratings, 4 soaps hit lows in ratings, ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ suffering the biggest decline. Perhaps Spring Break was a culprit, but the report for March 14 through March 18 saw another slump. ‘DOOL’ was sitting at the bottom of the rank with 2,234,000 total viewers, which is not even half of ‘The Young and the Restless’ viewership which enjoyed 4,695,000 viewers.
What do you think the future of ‘Days of Our Lives’ will be? What do you think of POP TV network’s decision to drop ‘DAYS’ from their lineup? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.

Absurd to tease us with this opportunity to watch each night when cannot in daytime. I often continued watching Pop after Days was over but this decision will make me avoid watching anything on Pop altogether. Just a slap in the face. They should be ashamed of themselves.
