‘Days of Our Lives’ News: Ken Corday Snags Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame – DOOL’s Executive Producer Recognized for Achievement

“Days of Our Lives” has been getting major recognition in Tinseltown lately. Deidre Hall (Marlena) recently snagged a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Now DOOL’s executive producer, Ken Corday, is also set to receive the honor. Any accolades are welcome, but this one is particularly special.

The Walk of Fame Selection Committee of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is responsible for selecting the honorees. Hundreds of nominations were submitted for the coveted stars. The Walk of Fame highlights the talents of entertainment professionals in several different areas. These categories include television, motion pictures, radio, recording and live theatre.

After careful consideration, the committee made their selections and passed them along for approval. The Hollywood Chamber’s Board of Directors authorized the process and the honorees were made public through a press announcement on Tuesday, June 28. It was a significant moment for Corday and everyone at “Days of Our Lives.”

There’s no news yet on when Corday’s ceremony will take place, but we’ll give you updates when a date is confirmed. In the meantime, we can all congratulate Corday on this stellar achievement! He’s definitely earned it for everything he’s put into “Days” over the years.

Corday is being honored with some other heavyweights of the entertainment industry. The 2017 television honorees include Eva Longoria, Hugh Laurie, Keri Russell, Wolfgang Puck and more. Corday and the rest of his fellow star recipients will be immortalized at this iconic attraction.
