‘Days Of Our Lives’ News: Jaime Lynn Bauer Returns – Laura Horton Back In Salem

Jaime Lynn Bauer who played the role of Laura Horton and was last seen in 2013 on ‘Days of Our Lives’ will make her on-screen return on September 2. In the newest issue of the Soap Opera Digest magazine Bauer opened up about her return and what it was like to work with Billy Flynn [Chad DiMera]. In the same issue, Bauer teased about the kind of material viewers can expect to see next week Friday when her character makes her first appearance since 2013.

Laura was placed in a mental facility and the last time she was seen was when her daughter Jennifer [Melissa Reeves] went to visit her in April 2013. Now Bauer will reprise her most notable role in daytime history and fans will finally get to see her work with Reeves once again.

What sort of material can viewers expect? “I had dialogue and scenes I could sink my teeth into,” she dished to SOD. No doubt we will get to see her in some fine moments considering there is much emotional material on the show right now concerning her family. Jennifer is more of an addict than ever and taking Chad to court for a custody battle. Abigail is reportedly dead – what will Laura have to say about all these things.

Bauer reportedly returned to ‘Days of Our Lives’ during her recovery process after seriously injuring her foot. “Apparently, I had torn a ligament that holds your toes in place,” she shared. SOD highlights that Bauer had to use a scooter to get around the NBC studio.

Still, it is unknown how long she will be around for but fans can tune in next week to catch every minute of her appearance. ‘Chabby’ fans can also look forward to scenes with Laura and Chad.
