‘Days Of Our Lives’ News: ‘DOOL’ Casting Two New Characters

The cast of ‘Days of Our Lives’ is getting a bit bigger – the NBC soap opera has released a casting call for two new roles. Soap Opera Digest is reporting that DAYS has issued a casting call for the roles of Annabelle and Dr. Lee.

Annabelle should be between the ages of 24-30, she is described a “somewhat fragile girl in look and essence.” According to SOD she is placed in prison after committing a crime – tax fraud! Also she is currently slated for two shows but with the possibility of more, and we know how the world of daytime soap operas operates.

Annabelle could definitely become a contract role in the future considering some factors – for one, if the character resonates well with Days viewers. With Annabelle being a prisoner, this could possibly mean that she will be an inmate with a current ‘Days of Our Lives’ character, but whom?

Then there is the casting call for the role of Dr. Lee. This doctor is described as a “professional who is opinionated and strong-mined”. Dr. Lee’s role is a one day principal one and he should be between the ages of 45-55. With a doctor around this only indicates that someone in Salem will be in need of medical attention, but whom?

At this point there are no details to indicate when these roles will begin taping nor when they will debut but with the show taping so far ahead their debuts could be in the fall. Stay tuned to SOS for updates!
