‘Days Of Our Lives’ News: ‘DOOL’ Casting New Contract Character – Who Is Dr. Caleb Cooper?

‘Days of Our Lives’ is casting yet another new role. This time however, it is a contract part for the role of Dr. Caleb Cooper. Soap Opera Digest reports that the show seeks to add Dr. Cooper, who is described as a “good-looking loner. He lives on a self-sustaining farm in Middle America, completely off the grid.… He finds peace and joy in nature. He keeps his past as a doctor secret, hiding the truth about a traumatic tragedy from his past.”

SOD states that the NBC soap opera seeks a well-established actor who is between the ages of 45 and 55 to fit the role, which is set to begin taping in August. Although there is no official air date released as yet, with the show taping their episodes so far ahead we may not meet this character until about late 2016 or early 2017.

With such a past this person must have some connection to someone in Salem, but who? Who will he get involved with him when he gets to Salem? Will he work at the Salem hospital or does his past include the hospital?
There are several well-known daytime actors who are no longer on daytime and are between those ages. And there are also some well-known primetime stars as well who could take on the role.
