‘Days Of Our Lives’ News: Daniel Cosgrove Joins Cast Of New TV Show, ‘Project Dad’

‘Days of Our Lives’ Daniel Cosgrove [Aiden Jennings] will leave Salem shortly after realizing Hope [Kristian Alfonso] will never be able to love him. It may be the last time ‘DOOL’ fans will see Aiden, but it won’t be the last time we’ll see Daniel.

Daniel is one of the stars of a new TLC reality show, ‘Project Dad.’ Daniel, along with comedian Donnell Rawlings of ‘Chappelle’s Show’ and world-renowned DJ Skribble of MTV’s ‘TRL’ will be single parents for 3-days, left alone with the kids while there partners enjoy some time away from home.

According to a press release from PR Wire in conjunction with Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment, the reality show will follow these three busy celebrity dads “as they put their careers to the side and get to know their children.”

As one of the celebrity fathers participating in ‘Project Dad’ Daniel Cosgrove will find out just how difficult it is to balance taking care of a home, parenting effectively all while pursuing a full-time career – without any help.

Executive Chairman of Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment William J. Rouhana, Jr. explained further. “’Project Dad’ will have viewers laughing, crying and relishing in the real life moments these dads have with their children.”

Daniel Cosgrove, who has been married to his wife Marie since 1997, will be left in charge of the couple’s four children – Lily, 16, Esme Rose, 13, Ruby Willow, 11, and seven-year-old Finnian Jack.
