‘Days of Our Lives’ News: Camila Banus Talks Her Absence, DOOL Gabi Back In Salem Soon

‘Days of Our Lives’ actress Camila Banus [Gabi Hernandez] will be back on our screens very very soon. The actress in response to fans’ queries took to Twitter to speak about her on screen absense. “Don’t worry I’ll be back on your screens very soon!” Not long after she tweeted “A lot of people have been asking why I am not airing on Days. I was not in for a couple of months … but you will see me soon !!!”

Her status at ‘Days of Our Lives’ was questioned when it was first announced that she landed a role on ‘Mistresses’. Fans got even more worried when they began to notice that their fan favorite was not on their screens.

Apparently Banus took some time off to do some filming for the prime time series. Her episodes on ‘Mistresses’ don’t air until later this summer so be sure to tune in. With Days filming months ahead Banus most likely will be back before the year’s end.

Her alter ego Gabi was recently paired with JJ [Casey Moss] but due to her break their story was given a rest. When Gabi returns what will be the status of their relationship? JJ is very caught up with finding his sister Abby, will Gabi get involved? Would Abigail return by the time Gabi is back? And what about the relationship with her family members? Will Gabi and her parents and siblings still get along?
