‘Days Of Our Lives’ News: Alum Jensen Ackles Receives People’s Choice Award, Watch Hilarious Video With Co-Star Misha Collins

“Days of Our Lives” alum Jensen Ackles [ex-Eric Brady] picked up a People’s Choice Award recently for his role on CW sci-fi series “Supernatural.” The actor took to Facebook to thank fans with a hilarious video.

The short video clip was put together by Ackles co-star Misha Collins [Castiel] who starts off the funny video by introducing Jensen and congratulating the actor on his win. Ackles took home the People’s Choice trophy for Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Actor.

However, the actual People’s Choice Award – which needs to be engraved with Jensen’s name – had not arrived yet. Misha presented Jensen with an electric teapot in place of the award. Misha decided to photo bomb the video after introducing Jensen. The actor asked Collins to step aside so he could give his speech. These two should win an award for their comedic acting!

Jensen thanked everyone for “supporting what we do. It’s humbling, it’s inspiring. I appreciate the win. I will certainly share it with most of the other cast.” Thumbs up! “Happy New Year!”

The entire time Jensen Ackles is speaking Misha Collins is messing around in the background, acting board, making faces. It’s quite funny – Jensen and Misha may want to look into starring in a sitcom in their downtime from “Supernatural.”
