‘Days of Our Lives’ News: Aaron Lustig Cast As DOOL Dr. Wight

‘Days of Our Lives’ casting news reveals that former daytime soap opera star Aaron Lustig has been hired for a short stint. According to Soaps.com Lustig will be making appearances as Dr. Wight in several episodes and will first be seen in September 2016.

Lustig is an American television and film Actor. He is a familiar face to daytime viewers having played the role of Dr. Tim Reid on both ‘The Young and the Restless’ and ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’. For his portrayal of Dr. Reid he received a Daytime Emmy nomination in 1997, in the category of Best Supporting Actor.

Aside from his daytime roles he has guest-starred in a number of primetime serials. One of which stands out today is the role of Walter Kern on ‘Criminal Minds’. Walter was a serial killer who was inactive for approximately eighteen years. He has also guest starred in ‘Desperate Housewives’ in the seventh season as a transplant coordinator.

He has appeared in over twenty films to date. His role as a doctor on ‘Days of Our Lives’ should be pretty easy considering this is not his first time. The role he played on Y&R and B&B was a doctor and several of the films he appeared in was as a doctor. He appeared in films such as ‘Thank You for Smoking’, ‘The Relic’, ‘Pinocchio’s Revenge’, ‘Star Trek Voyager’, ‘A Mothers Prayer’, ‘Scanner Cop II’, ‘The Shadow’, ’Clear and Present Danger’, ‘Leap of Faith’ and ‘No Dessert, Dad, till You Mow the Lawn’ all as a doctor.

Lustig also appeared in other popular films such as ‘Tuesdays with Morrie’, ‘After Jimmy’, ‘Bedazzled’, ‘Jane Doe: Vanishing Act’, ‘If These Walls Could Talk’, ‘The Day After Tomorrow’ and much more. Look for him to debut in his Days role this coming September.
