‘Days Of Our Lives’ Interview: Olivia Rose Keegan Dishes On Joining ‘DOOL,’ Upcoming Claire Brady Scenes, Plus New Music!

Olivia Rose Keegan may be new to daytime but she is having quite a ball in the role of Claire Brady on ‘Days of Our Lives’. Keegan has fun learning new tricks while working with some well established stalwarts in the business. Having been giving some outrageous storylines and emotional material to work with, Keegan has established herself in the daytime business. Not only does she feels thrilled acting, but is very happy she also gets the chance to display her musical abilities. Keegan spoke with Teenplicity in which she dished on her joining Days’, her musical career, her co-stars and more.

Of becoming a member of the cast of the NBC soap opera Keegan highlights that “it was incredible”. Keegan further dished that she was honored to be a part of a show that has been going on long before she was even born and remains a household name. On the topic of her character’s traits Keegan shared “She has a very clear vision of what she wants”. This is something Days viewers see daily when Claire Brady is on their screens.

Claire’s character history is slowly being developed and Keegan teases that some new scene are on the way. “Lately, the writers have been throwing Claire in the mixing pot, so there are new scenes on the way with all sorts of Salem inhabitants,” she shares. And, though she wishes her character would have more screen time with her parents she highlights how thrilled she was to have worked with both Brandon Beemer [Shawn] and Martha Madison [Belle] who left an impact on her acting career.

Keegan took the time to go in detail on her musical career. She is excited that her character gets the chance to display her musical abilities and she also noted that she is working on her own music outside of ‘Days of Our Lives’. “It is different from Claire’s style and has a little 60s psychedelic flare,” she shares about her upcoming personal music.
