“Days of Our Lives” star Meredith Scott Lynne’s [ex-Anne Milbauer] infant niece and a picture were the catalysts for an exciting new project. Meredith explains the WRiTE BRAiN BOOKS teaching kit and the non-profit charity WRiTE BRAiN GiVES.
A simple picture book reignited Meredith’s interest in creative writing. As a child the actress would often enter her stories in contests. Meredith explained to CBS Soaps in Depth that it was through storytelling she learned that her voice made a difference. WRiTE BRAiN BOOKS funds the non-profit WRiTE BRAiN GiVES which provides the teaching tool to students who otherwise could not afford it.

More and more Meredith became aware that there is an entire generation of “digitally focused young people” who are easily distracted and less social than previous generations. The realization that there was a need to stimulate the right brain in order to engage children and grown-ups to stay focused.
The WRiTE BRAiN kit is intended to be used as a tool for teachers, homeschoolers and even in after-school programs to assist students in communicating by writing their own stories. The kit includes a book of illustrations intended to stimulate students to write the accompanying story in their own words. Meredith revealed to CBS Soaps in Depth, “When you give anyone a picture to start from, they’re fearless.” The illustrations encourage the author to let their imagination run wild.
After the student creates a story to accompany the illustrations they can upload them with their photo and a bio. A professional hardcover copy with a dust jacket is created for the aspiring author.

Using WRiTE BRAiN BOOKS is a truly uplifting experience, just ask Deidre Hall [Marlena Evans] who was the first of Meredith Scott Lynne’s former co-stars to test out the learning tool. Hall wrote a book she called “Little Big Bear” about a young circus animal. The book’s dedication is to Meredith Scott Lynne and “DAYS” fans will be able to purchase the book soon as part of a fundraiser.
