‘Days of Our Lives’ Interview: Ariana Zucker Discusses What Happens Next For Nicole After Daniel’s Death

“Days of Our Lives” Nicole Walker [Ariana Zucker] faces yet another tragedy and must find a way to cope with the loss of fiancé Daniel Jonas [Shawn Christian]. Nicole has dealt with pain and suffering before, but will this be too much for her to bear?

Ariana Zucker cannot reveal too much of the storyline regarding Nicole’s grief and recovery process. The actress was recently interviewed by Janet Di Lauro, a “Days of Our Lives” Fan Expert to discuss in which direction TPTB will take Nicole.

Will Daniel’s death cause Nicole to return to destructive behavior? Arianna did divulge that she does “like the transition that’s going to happen. It’s done really well.”

Zucker gets a lot of feedback from “DAYS” fans about her character – and it seems as if “DOOL” prefer the calculating, scheming Nicole. Arianna thinks the daytime drama needs a person to “stir things up and make some messes,” according to the interview with Di Lauro.

There is also a possibility that somewhere down the line TPTB will pair Nicole with a lover interest. Arianna said it was a bit of surprise when she found out Nicole might find love again.

Arianna Zucker isn’t sure how long it will be before Nicole is ready for romance – or how “DOOL” writers will pull off another relationship for Nicole after Daniel’s tragic death.

Remember, “Days of Our Lives” tapes six months in advance which means Nicole isn’t going to be paired with someone new for a bit. And hopefully the writers will take it slow and ease Daniel’s grieving fiancée into a friendship first.

Nicole Walker might be lost for quite some time. Writers may return Nicole to the dark side for a while. Stay tuned “Days of Our Lives” fans – it appears there may be a rollercoaster ride of emotions for Nicole over the next several months.
