‘Days of Our Lives’ Interview: Alum Shawn Christian Talks His Latest Movie And Shares Behind The Scenes Teaser

“Days of Our Lives” alum Shawn Christian [Dr. Daniel Jonas] may have left “DOOL” but fans can still see the actor in a new movie. Christian recently talked about the film and shared a behind-the-scenes look “Last Seen in Idaho.”

Christian shared his excitement about the film on Twitter. “Behind the scenes teaser of my latest film “Last Seen in Idaho” and then posted the link to the teaser on YouTube.

In the teaser Shawn talked a bit about his character Lance – and fans may be surprised how much different Lance is from Daniel. “One thing I love about Lance is he doesn’t typically live the life that I life. It’s a little darker character. And Lance certainly is a different from Dr. Jonas.

“DOOL” fans may not even recognize Shawn in “Last Seen in Idaho”! The actor’s hair is cut short, he’s sporting a beard and he is tatted out. You’ll see a large serpent tat on his neck!

Lance is “caught between two worlds” Shawn explains as he gives us a look at a scene filmed at a mansion, ladies clad in bikinis gathered around a pool and Jacuzzi. In another scene Lance shoots a man in cold blood.

“[Lance] is straight up gansta, but also has to mix with the millionaires,” Shawn explains. Hallie Shepard portrays Summer – and Lance has a mysterious history with the wealthy socialite. “You get a sense that they had dated. But you don’t know to what extent that love went.

In the behind-the-scenes look Fireshoe Productions – the company that is producing the film – shares a quick look at Lance and Summer interacting at a party. It doesn’t look like things ended well. Summer has moved on and chosen another path in life – Lance, however, can’t seem to let go.
