‘Days Of Our Lives’ Exclusive Interview: Patsy Pease Dishes On Kim Donovan’s Return To ‘DOOL,’ The Bay,’ And Her New Book!

‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers tease Patsy Pease is on her way back to Salem in the role of Kim Donovan for a brief story arc. Although, the storyline details are still limited, Soap Opera Spy caught up with the actress to have a lovely conversation. Though the conversation was short, Pease spoke of her Days return, working with Charles Shaughnessy another time, if she would return full time to Days, her work on ‘The Bay’ and other projects she’s working on. Take a look at the full interview below!

SOS: Greetings Patsy! It’s so good to have you stop by to speak with SOS (Soap Opera Spy).  How are you doing and what have you been up to these days?

PATSY: It is so great to be here! I have been doing the charity Samantha’s Friends and the Western Film Fair in Winston Salem, NC.

SOS: Sounds good. What about Days of Our Lives? Heard you were back at the NBC studios?

PATSY: Yes, I was for about 10 episodes which will air sometime either November or I even heard after December.

SOS: Okay, so that means Kim will not be around for Theresa’s wedding?

PATSY: Not to my knowledge.

SOS: Okay thank you! SOS is also aware that Charles Shaugnessy will be returning as well. Are you returning together?

PATSY: Yes, it was a joy to work with Charlie again! I also shot another fab season with The Bay the Series with genius Gregori Martin directing!

SOS: Excellent! We are aware of your work on The Bay as well. Do you have any storyline teasers for your character in that regard?

PATSY: This new season of The Bay promises more excitement and “Bayhem” than the audience has ever seen before! You really have to hold onto your seats folks! This season will knock your socks off! Just watch Lola and Sarah in action!

SOS: My My My! Now, we are excited for the new season. We also know that you may not be able to share much about your DAYS return, but what can you say about what brings Kim and Shane back to Salem? Any story teasers?

PATSY: That is also a GREAT story line!! This was just a powerful season of wonderful stories written by great writers! I am so grateful to be lucky enough to part of each show! 

SOS: Okay! Might we ask, do you get another opportunity to work with Kassie DePaiva?

PATSY: Unfortunately I did not get the honor of working with Kassie again this time.

SOS: We know you are a bit busy but would you ever consider a full time return to Days of Our Lives?

PATSY: The Brady’s will always be my “alternate Universe” family, so yes that would be something to consider. 

SOS: What else can you share with us? Whether on The Bay, Days of Our Lives, or other projects you are working on?

PATSY: I started a Blog about mental health addressing my bipolar issues hoping to neutralize the stigma. It is PatsyPease@wordpress, also the first 3 chapters of my book are drafted.

SOS: Can you share more about this book?

PATSY: Basically, It’s my story…a memoir..of how I survived a painful past to living with dignity and purpose today…shame-free.
