‘All My Children’ News: AMC Mike Minor, Ex-Brandon Kingsley, Dead At Age 75

“All My Children” (AMC) has been in the news of late, not too long ago we heard of the passing of David Canary now comes more sad news, Mike Minor is dead from cancer at age 75.

Minor played the character of Brandon Kingsley from 1980 – 1982 and many soap fans would remember his pairing with the beautiful Erica Cane played by Susan Lucci. It so happened that Erica met Brandon the CEO of the Sensuelle Cosmetics Company at a time when she was down on her luck. Brandon intention upon meeting Erica was to her become the spokesmodel for his company. Minor’s character was described as charming and handsome.

Fans would also remember Erica was married to Tom Cudahy played by Richard Shoberg and because of the new offers from Brandon, she divorced Tom. Erica left Pine Valley to start a romance with him as thinks started to look so bright for her. eventually their love story had sone complications and they split .

Minor played several other roles, he appeared on Petticoat Junction as Steve Elliot for four seasons. He also had roles on As the World Turns, The Edge of the Night , Another World and his most recent on L.A Law back in 1993.
