‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers Wednesday, Sept 23: Ian Sets Trap, Jabot Takes Bait – Jack and Ashley Battle – Jack Speaks To Fred, Recognizes Voice

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday September 23, 2015 reveal that the chaos and confusion of The Paragon Project has begun.  Although Adam (Justin Hartley) wants to bring down Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) Adam soon finds out Ian (Ray Wise) has his own agenda.

The Wednesday September 23, 2015 episode of “Y&R” opens with Nicholas (Joshua Morrow) telling Victoria (Amelia Heinle) that numbers just don’t lie and Brash & Sassy numbers are up and Chelsea 2.0 are down. Nicholas thinks it is The Paragon Project. They hear a noise on the computer and it is a buy and sell order. Victoria says, “What the Hell??” Meanwhile, Ian (Ray Wise) says, “Let the bidding begin! Come on Abbotts”

Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Billy (Burgess Jenkins) are at Ashley’s laptop and she is shocked, she sees the Newman shipping line (Lancelot) being off-loaded she cannot believe the price, it is low. Ashley tells Billy something is not right. Billy says too bad and click buy. Ashley freaks. Meanwhile, Victoria is freaked; she cannot believe their whole shipping line sold. She says, “This cannot be happening!” Meanwhile over at Ian’s place he says, “The soothing sound of chaos.”

Jack (Peter Bergman) calls to Phyllis, (Gina Tognoni) they are going to be late for their reservation – Jack can see Phyllis is still upset she tells Jack she does not think it is a coincidence that Fred befriended her. Phyllis says she has a confession to make.

Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) tells Adam (Justin Hartley) he is good he always knows what to say to make her feel better. Adam says he is never taking her for granted again. Someone knocks on the door. Adam opens the door and it is Abby (Melissa Ordway)she is freaking out.

Victor (Eric Braeden) wants to help Sage (Kelly Sullivan) but she tells him to stay away from her. Sage starts screaming, “You cannot have my baby, I won’t let you.”

Victor calls an ambulance and tells them that his daughter-in-law is on the floor and is hysterical. Sage is losing it, she is freaking out at Victor, and he tries to calm her. Sage asks why she should trust him and he says because she is carrying his grandchild. Victor tries to get her to relax and take deep breaths. Sage starts to calm down.

Kevin (Greg Rikaart) is trying to figure out what happened on the computer Victoria & Nicholas are bashing him with questions. Nicholas wants to call Victor because they lost a major company but Victoria does not want him too. Kevin tells them they did not lose the company he knows where it is, Jabot.

Abby (Melissa Ordway) is crying and ranting about Stitch (Sean Carrigan) and how clueless he is. Abby tells Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) she is really luck to have Gabriel. Abby gets another text message, it is Stitch and she won’t answer it. Abby looks at her phone it is Nicholas he texted Abby someone approved the sale of one of Newman Satellite companies. Chelsea is shocked who would make such a mistake and Adam says he does not think it was a mistake.

Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) gives Jack (Peter Bergman) the note Fred (Ian) left for her in the trailer. “We will see each other again, I will explain more later. This isn’t goodbye. Fred” Phyllis says she was tempted to call Fred but she didn’t. Phyllis cannot deny that Jack might be right and Fred might be connected to Marco.

Ian is gloating about what is happening at Newman. The phone rings, Ian picks it up looks at the number calling and says, “I knew you would call!” Ian picks up the phone and it is Jack. Ian says, “Nice to meet you Mr. Abbott” Jack tells him they were disappointed that he could not come to dinner and Fred says he was called out of town. Ian makes an excuse and hangs up fast. Jack says, “There is something about that voice.” Ian drops the phone in the garbage and says, “Lets not do that again!”

Adam says the sudden sale of a Newman subsidiary looks like it is The Paragon Project. Chelsea asks if Chelsea 2.0 is in trouble. Adam says he does not know but Abby will find out for them. Chelsea leaves to go upstairs and someone knocks at the door. It is Ian.

Adam asks Ian what the hell he is doing coming to the door. Ian wants to know if Adam has red wine and Adam thinks Ian is losing his mind. Ian tells Adam that Victor’s shipping company has been sold and Newman Enterprise loss is someone’s gain. Adam asks Ian who???

Billy is bragging that Jabot is now the proud owner of Lancelot shipping. Ashley cannot believe he bought it. Ashley warns him about due diligence. Ashley warns him if he ever does something like that again he won’t be working for her.

Abby is shocked that Jabot bought Lancelot shipping. Kevin tells Abby and Nicholas that the buy order came from Victoria’s computer login. They accuse Victoria of having mixed alliances. Kevin lets them know that getting them at each other’s throats might be part of the plan. The phone rings it is Victor and he tells Nicholas he has to go the hospital, now, Sage collapsed.

Victoria heads to Jabot and asks Billy if he has been using her. Billy claims she is more important to him. Victoria is upset they bought Lancelot and she wants them to rectify the sale.

Adam tells Ian the plan was to bring down Victor not reignite the fight between the Newman’s and the Abbotts. Adam tells Ian that Jack is off limits. Ian tells him he needs to do something about his tender heart. Chelsea calls and Adam tells Ian to get lost.

Chelsea tells Adam he does not have to pretend she knows what he has been up too.

Nicholas comes into the hospital and Stitch tells him Sage is having the same symptoms as before. Victor says he found her collapsed. Nick goes in to see Sage and Sage asks what is wrong with her, why does it keep happening to her.

Nicholas comes out of Sage’s room and Victor says he is sure Sage will be okay. Nicholas says, “If she is it is no thanks to you.” Victor looks confused.

Ashley and Victoria bicker and Billy tells Victoria it is his fault he saw the bargain and he went for it. Victoria leaves to be with Nicholas.

Ashley tells Billy buying Lancelot is a good idea but there will be consequences both good and bad both personal and business.

Chelsea says she knows Adam did it all for her. Chelsea just got a text from Abby and her Chelsea 2.0 sales have rebounded. Chelsea thanks Adam for thinking of her and her company. Adam tells Chelsea he found out Jabot bought the Newman Shipping Company that was put up for sales.

Jack is confused and tells Phyllis he recognizes Fred’s voice but cannot place it. Gabriel calls Jack and asks if he heard the news, one of Newman’s most prestigious companies was sold off and Jabot bought the company. Jack says Paragon is responsible. Adam tells Jack he needs to convince Ashley to sell the company back to Victor.

Victor wants to know why Nicholas is angry with him he is not responsible for Sage being on the floor. Nicholas tells Victor that Sage knows that he took Chelsea to court to get time with Connor. Nicholas tells Victor maybe this happened to Sage because he was there.

Victor is shocked Nicholas is blaming him for Sage collapsing. Nicholas warns Victor he better not be responsible. Nicholas asks Stitch if he knows what is going on with Sage. Stitch does not know yet and Nicholas goes in to see Sage.

Victoria gets to the hospital and Abby tells her they have not told Victor about the computer screw-up. Abby tells Victoria it is over between her and Stitch.

Kevin comes into Adam’s place and Kevin tells Adam no one signed off on the deal – no one approved the sale. Kevin says there is no way it could happened except… Chelsea comes downstairs and Kevin tells her there is a third party involved who is more dangerous than the Newman Family or the Abbot Family. Kevin can confirm that The Paragon Project launched a virus into Newman Enterprise’s computer system.

Jack orders Ashley to sell Lancelot Company back to Victor at cost. Ashley is pissed and tells Jack that if Victor wants to buy the company back at above market value she will consider it. Jack tells Ashley this is different, it is bigger than revenge, someone wanted Jabot to buy the company and Ashley took the bait. Ashley tells Jack she is NOT selling it and that is final!

Ashley accuses Jack of not being able to stand that she is in charge. Ashley tells him to get the board together and vote her out.

Phyllis is wondering what kind of game Fred is playing she picks up her phone to call him and gets a message, “The number you have reached is no longer in service.”

Adam thanks Kevin for bringing him the information but he tells him there are a lot of assumptions but no facts. Chelsea says Kevin is a genius. Kevin tells them it is a super virus and it is not simple, it is already in the system. Kevin cannot do anything to stop the virus. Chelsea is worried eventually it will get to Chelsea 2.0. Chelsea thinks if someone started the virus, someone can stop it but Kevin tells her they don’t know who the person is and it might be too late.

Victor tells Victoria something is going on with Nicholas. Victor asks Victoria to tell him. She asks if he has checked his messages but Victor says he has been too busy. Victoria tells him his day is about to get a little bit worse. Victor cannot believe Jabot took over their shipping line. Billy walks in.

Abby tells Stitch she is sorry she did not get back to him. A nurse gives Stitch a file, he looks at it and says, “I have to speak to Sage and Nicholas” and leaves.

Stitch comes into the room and tells Sage and Nicholas he has Sage’s test results.

That is it “The Young and the Restless” fans!  It is clear that Ian has his own agenda and wants to reignite the battle between the Newman and Abbott Family.  How is Adam going to shut down what he started?  Stitch has the results of Sage’s test what do you think is wrong with her?  Can Kevin stop the Paragon Project virus?
