At The Underground, Abby (Melissa Ordway) fills in Mariah, Kevin, Noah (Robert Adamson) and Marisa (Sofia Pernas) on the spiked sales numbers for Chelsea’s line. Kevin hints that something’s not quite right about the sudden uptick. Perhaps there’s a system glitch. Mariah chimes in about Kevin’s job working for Victor (Eric Braeden). Noah warns that it’s a bad idea. Kevin may not get the payoff he’s looking for.
As Marisa and Noah bond, Mariah and Kevin feel stuck in a rut. At Marisa’s urging, Mariah tries to shake things up—starting in the bedroom. When they’re alone in Marisa’s suite, Mariah indicates they have the place to themselves. Kevin’s mind is still on work, but Mariah quickly distracts him with sexy lingerie. Kevin and Mariah begin kissing as they get undressed.
At the athletic club, Jack (Peter Bergman) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) discuss the Paragon Project. Jack insists the plot is very real and they need to be prepared. Stitch (Sean Carrigan) arrives and says Abby has good news. Sales are going well at Newman Enterprises thanks to Abby’s tweaks. Ashley hints that she’s still not happy about Abby working there. Abby shows up and senses the hesitation. Stitch reminds Abby that Ashley isn’t against her. Victor is the one Ashley doesn’t trust.
Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Ian’s plot is moving forward nicely. Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Ian (Ray Wise) enjoy each other’s company at the cabin. When Phyllis mentions her daughter, Summer (Hunter King), Ian recalls his own daughter that turned on him. Phyllis gets distracted by a call from Jack. After telling Jack all about “Fred,” she turns back to find that her dinner companion has disappeared. We see Ian back in his camper focusing on the Paragon Project. Ian turns on some music and gets giddy thinking about Chelsea’s line being his puppet show.
Emma (Alice Greczyn) figures out that her hospital badge is missing and lets her supervisor know. Stitch overhears and scolds Emma for being careless. A medicine cabinet was found open in the supply closet and they can’t have people swiping stuff. Meanwhile, Gwen (Nadine Nicole) asks Neil why he took off on her after their night together. Neil says he feels guilty about his happiness. After all, Devon (Bryton James) is dealing with so much sorrow right now. Neil gets updates on the missing badge and heads over to help look for it.
Neil pretends to find the badge in the sofa cushions, but Gwen gets suspicious. When Gwen wonders if Neil took it, he declares that they should just go ahead and end this. In the boathouse, Hilary (Mishael Morgan) is unconscious when Neil returns. Neil shares his troubles and indicates that he doesn’t want to hurt Gwen.
It seems Neil cares about Gwen, but he’s made quite a mess of things. Y&R rumors hint that even more trouble is brewing. Later this week, Neil will feel so guilty that he’ll end up admitting he’s responsible for Hilary’s disappearance. How will Devon react to Neil’s bombshell? Stick with the CBS soap to see the drama for this father and son.
