“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday, October 27, tease that Adam (Justin Hartley) will survive his surgery as Christian’s health begins to decline. After an intense conversation with Ashley (Eileen Davidson), Stitch (Sean Carrigan) will propose to Abby (Melissa Ordway). Across town, it will become clear that Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) was the one who ran down Adam. Unfortunately, Chloe will cause even more trouble by knocking out Mariah (Camryn Grimes).
At the hospital, Victor (Eric Braeden) apologizes for blaming Billy (Burgess Jenkins) for the hit-and-run. Victor extends his gratitude to Jack (Peter Bergman) for speaking up for Adam on the stand. Jack and Victor end up arguing in spite of the gesture. These two can’t seem to keep the peace.
A few minutes later, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor walk by the NICU. Since Christian has stopped breathing, Sage (Kelly Sullivan) has been sent out of the room so the doctors can work. Nikki offers Sage reassurance while Victor reminds Nick (Joshua Morrow) that Christian is a fighter. Eventually, the doctor gives Nick and Sage updates on Christian’s sleep apnea. Things don’t look good. Sage and Nick return to their son’s side to encourage him to pull through.

Meanwhile, Ashley finds Stitch and gives back the engagement ring she found. Ashley declares that it’s disturbing that Stitch is proposing to Abby. After all, it wasn’t too long ago that Stitch said he couldn’t get Ashley off his mind. Ashley asks if Stitch has talked to Victor about his plans. Stitch hints that Ashley is the parent he’s worried about. Ashley reluctantly gives Stitch her blessing.
At the chapel, Abby tries to comfort Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and urges her to pray. Stitch comes in with the news that Adam made it through surgery. Chelsea rushes off to see Adam, who opens his eyes slightly. Chelsea promises Adam that they’ll be together. Adam just has to find a way to get better. Victor stops by later and tells Adam to fight. Back in the chapel, Stitch gets down on one knee and pops the question to Abby.
Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say we’ll find out the identity of the hit-and-run driver. Paul (Doug Davidson) tells Kevin (Greg Rikaart) that there was a tip about a white sedan parked at the South Lake Motel. They think it was the vehicle used to run down Adam. Kevin does a little digging online and learns that it was Chloe’s rental car. Kevin calls Chloe and leaves her a message. Paul worries that things will get worse for Chloe if Adam doesn’t make it. Kevin mentions the gun incident at Delia’s (Sophie Pollono) tree planting. They agree that they need to find Chloe before she hurts anyone else.
At The Underground, Chloe approaches Mariah and asks for her help. Mariah calls Kevin and says Chloe is looking for him. Mariah adds that Chloe wants to discuss recent events.
Chloe isn’t pleased by Mariah’s choice of words and hits her over the head with a bottle for tipping Kevin off.
Kevin and Paul arrive to find Mariah unconscious. When Mariah wakes up, Kevin asks if Chloe did this to her. Mariah implies that Chloe is coming unhinged. Paul puts out an APB for Chloe as Mariah explains the situation to Kevin.
At Crimson Lights, Chloe says she’s in a jam and asks Esther (Kate Linder) to help her out. Esther quickly realizes that Chloe was behind the hit-and-run. Chloe gets angry when Esther refuses to give her the money in the cash register.
Chelsea shows up and states that Chloe tried to kill her husband. Chloe snaps back that she should’ve tried harder. Y&R rumors hint that Chloe still has a few surprises in store. Stick with the CBS soap to see what secrets will be revealed.
