‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers Tuesday, August 18: Marisa Kisses Marco – Jack’s Father Warns of Victor – Harding Alive – Jack Threatens Full Confession

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday August 18, 2015 reveal that although Marco shot Detective Harding he is alive and well.  Marco shot Harding in the arm to take the suspicion off Harding so they can continue to work together.  Meanwhile, Jack has a visit from his Father who gives him words of wisdom on the situation with Victor and Marco.

The Tuesday August 18, 2015 episode of “Y&R” opens with Victor (Eric Braeden) breaking the police tape that is blocking his office door. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) follow Victor into the office. They both are curious why Marco(Peter Bergman) was in his office targeting Victor. Victor tells them he does not think so the GCPD think that Marco lured Jack pretending to be him. Victor tells them they don’t know the people Jack is involved with or the lengths they would go to. Victor tells Nick and Victoria that the Paragon Project is serious business.

Paul (Doug Davidson) asks Jack why Marco would want to lure him into Victor’s office. Jack tells him he has no idea, Harding (Chris McKenna) would not let him in the office and apparently there was no security footage. Dylan (Steve Burton) is in the office too and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) tells them they have no idea why Marco would want to end Jack’s life. Paul tells Jack he has known him for years and now he has been shot by his business partner and a notorious drug dealer tried to kill him, WHY?? Dylan wants to know if Victor is involved with Marco and Phylllis says, “Jack we should just tell them the truth.”

At the Underground Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Kevin (Greg Rikaart) are surprised Marco got away. Mariah says bet Harding cannot believe it either after all he got a bullet in his arm and Marisa(Sophia Pernas)says, “One that was meant for Jack.” Mariah feels bad because she though Harding was a dirty cop and now he is a her. The Scooby Doo gang cannot believe they got it so wrong.

At the GCPD Kevin apologizes to Harding for thinking he was up to something. Harding sits down looks at his computer and has a look of surprise.

Billy (Burgess Jenkins)tells Ashley (Eileen Davidson) that the same person who killed Austin(Matthew Atkinson) and Courtney(Kelli Gross) was targeting Jack. Ashley is surprised but tells Billy that Victor interrogated her and Jack about the Paragon Project. Ashley asks Billy if he set the Paragon Project in motion. Billy looks guilty.

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) has invited Sage(Kelly Sullivan) to brunch at The Athletic Club and Sage is touched. They talk about her pregnancy and Sage tells Nikki that she is thrilled to be engaged to Nick and be having his baby.

Victoria tells Victor he has been looking at the Abbotts but maybe it is Marco who is after him. Victor tells Victoria she does not want to accept that the Abbotts are involved because of Billy Boy Abbott.

Billy tells Ashley as much as he wants Victor taken down it isn’t him behind the Paragon Project. Ashley asks him why he is acting weird. He says because he and Victoria are back together and everyone is implying Victoria is spying on him.

Paul tells Jack to tell him the truth. Phyllis says, “Look Jack did business with Marco a while back.” Phyllis makes a big story about how they worked together and when Jack found out Marco had criminal ties they dropped him. Phyllis tells Paul they kept quiet because Victor would use it against them. Paul tells him that is the price for doing business with Victor Newman.

Billy tells Ashley Jack has a lot on his plate and that is why he is acting squirrely. Ashley reminds Billy it is the 9th anniversary of their Dad’s death.

Jack apologies for not telling him news sooner as they leave Harding comes in and they tell him they are sorry for what happened and thank him.

Kevin goes into Paul’s office to talk to him and Dylan – he tells them he apologized to Harding and has learned his lesson. Paul gets a text and he has to leave Christine (Laura Lee Bell) found out he was at work, Jack leaves.

Dylan tells Kevin the story Jack told them and Harding walks in and says, “Fish one question when I walked in you had your nose buried in the computer what were you looking at?” Kevin tells him the security cameras from the coffee house the night of the Abbott shooting. Harding rips into him about how it is not his job and he has told him a million times. Kevin defends himself and storms out.

Dylan tells Harding he is going to walk the crime scene where he got shot and Harding reminds him he is not a cop yet and this is his case. Dylan asks him to do it with him.

Victoria tells Victor that they know he hates the Abbotts but maybe he will miss who is really coming after him. Nick tells Victor and Victoria they have someone on the inside now, Dylan. Nick says he likes someone with their interest at heart. Victor reminds them he is not a NEWMAN and Nick replies, “He is my brother and Victoria’s and we should tell the police everything we know.”

Sage is touched because Nikki wants to throw her a baby shower she thanks Nikki and agrees to the shower. Sage leaves. Phyllis walks over to Nikki and says, “Ignorance is bliss even willful ignorance.”

Nick thinks if things are as dangerous as Victor says they are stupid not to go to the police. Nick tells Victor he is NOT going to sit back and wait. Victoria tells Nick that Victor is right they have to sit back and wait. Victoria leaves. Nick tells Victor he knows he expects him to fall in line.

Harding walks in and tells Victor the crime scene tape was up for a reason and he and Dylan have to check the crime scene again.

Mariah tells Marisa there has to be someone on the inside working with Marco it is the only thing that makes sense. Kevin walks in and tells them the story that Jack told the police. Kevin has a memory and says, “Wait Jack and Phyllis were at the wedding then Jack was alone when you saw him at the park Noah (Robert Adamson) and then Jack showed up at Victor’s office with Phyllis.” Mariah says, “ Maybe Phyllis met up with him later.” Marisa looks concerned.

At Chancellor Park Jack’s Dad John(Jerry Douglas)is there and John say, “Doppelgänger!” then Jack says, “I don’t have to tell you they are real.” Jack rants about how Marco tried to take his life, his wife. Jack tells his father Marco is nothing like him he does not get how his family and friends and Phyllis could not see it. Jack wonders what he is going to do now and his dad says, “BINGO!”

Harding asks Victor if he can add anything to what they know. Dylan asks Nick if he has anything and he says no. Nick and Victor leave. Dylan asks Harding to walk him through how exactly the shooting went down.

Kevin tells the Scooby Doo gang the tape is weird Jack walks into a frame and then walks out and then comes back. Kevin feels the answer is right there and he is too dense to figure out. Marisa tells Noah she is running out for supplies. Marisa kisses him and says goodbye.

Nick comes into The Underground and Sage tells him his mother invited him to lunch and wants to throw her a baby shower. Nick tells Sage he just got into it with Victor and he knew he should not have gone back it is just like it use to be him under Victor’s thumb.

Ashley wonders how their Dad would feel about Jack and Victor being partners. Ashley leaves and Victoria comes in Billy apologies for putting Victoria to the test. He tells Victoria he would resign she is all that matters to him.

Jack tells his Dad he does not know what to do he cannot accept Phyllis sleeping with Marco. Dad tells Jack he did what he had to do but he should not let Victor hold it over him. Jack’s Dad says, “This unholy alliance with Victor is a huge mistake. He used his fear to arrange for my son to be taken prisoner, he allowed a violent criminal to run loose. Innocent people here lost their life because of Victor Newman. What about your wife? Do I still have to tell you what has to be done about Victor Newman?” Jack replies, “NO, NO MORE thank you Dad!” Victor walks into the park.

Victoria and Billy bicker over Jack and Victor. They both agree there are problems on both sides.

Nikki tells Phyllis she is really sorry what almost happened. Phyllis is pissed and Nikki interrupts and tells her if she wants to blame someone she should blame Jack and his aggression. Phyllis tells Nikki she has been brainwashed. Phyllis tells Nikki, “It was not Jack who launched an attack it was someone else.” Ashley walks in overhears and says, “Tell us who so we can all know?”

Marco is at the Abbott Cabin eating a TV dinner looking disgusted he hears a noise, picks up his gun and runs to the door Marisa walks in and he grabs her and tells her, “Good way to get your head blown off.” She responds, “Like that poor cop?”

Marco tells her that the cop will live. Marisa says, “Jack would not have been so lucky if he was the one walking through that door.” Marco says, “Jack has been plenty lucky for a long time. I like that role he has been playing it for too long. I’m good at it. I deserve it, I deserve that life and I am going to have it.”

Victor asks Jack if he has a problem. Jack tells him his plan to get rid of him laid an egg you and Marco has to be crushed. Victor denies he is working with Marco. Jack tells him it is all on him. Jack says, “I am going to end the madness now.”

Harding walks Dylan through the shooting and has a flashback he remembers Marco telling him, “I just saved your life, tell people you were ambushed. They were starting to get suspicious. No one will suspect we are working together anymore.” Harding tells Dylan it was dark he did not see Marco. Dylan says to Harding, “Just one question. When whoever shot you ran why didn’t you go after them?”

Nick tells Sage that he wants to work with Dylan but Victor wants to keep him out. Sage tells him Victor is trying to protect him. Nick believes Victor does not want Dylan and him getting closer.

Dylan tells Harding he has been around plenty of gunfire and Harding has a superficial wound and does not understand why he didn’t go after the suspect. Harding tells him, “Because this is not Afghanistan Solider, it is not the Wild West this is an office building and you cannot have a shootout with people all around. You have a lot to learn if you are to be a cop.”

Mariah wants to know why Noah is worried about Marisa and Noah tells her he thinks Marisa is going to disappear from his life as fast as she showed up.

Marisa asks Marco why he wants to stay in Genoa City he has plenty of money and she knows he wants more. She grabs him and kisses him.

Ashley demands Phyllis tell her and Nikki what she knows about the plot against Victor and who is behind it. Nikki stands up pissed and says, “Isn’t it obvious she is, she and Jack they will do anything to destroy Victor.” Phyllis denies it and tells Nikki to ask Victor.

Victor asks Jack how he is going to contain things. Jack tells him he is not containing it, he is ending it he is calling the police and telling them all he is ending it all now. Victor tells him he will be extradited and rotting in jail if he calls the police if he wanted to get rid of Jack he would have done it himself.
