“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday, October 29, tease that Hilary (Mishael Morgan) will wander around as she tries to reach Devon (Bryton James). At Top of the Tower, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will prepare for the Halloween gala as someone else puts devious plans into action. Meanwhile, Adam (Justin Hartley) will have a brief scare as he chats with Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan).

At the lake house, Neil (Kristoff St. John) worries about Hilary. Neil’s glad that Hilary is awake, but he’s upset that she’s been missing for 24 hours. Dr. Neville (Michael E. Knight) returns and states that there’s no news about where Hilary is. Neil figures Hilary would probably go to the athletic club to find Devon. Dr. Neville suggests that Hilary’s condition is still quite fragile.
At the park, a very weak Hilary tries to call for help. Cane (Daniel Goddard) spots Hilary on a bench and tries to talk to her. Hilary is pretty out of it, but Cane says he’ll take care of everything. Cane turns his back to call Paul (Doug Davidson). Meanwhile, Devon tells Lily (Christel Khalil) that he believes Cane is guilty. All the evidence backs it up. Colin (Tristan Rogers) walks over and defends Cane’s innocence. Paul rushes in and lets them know that Hilary was found in the park.
A short time later, Colin sees Neil and gives him updates on Hilary’s whereabouts. Back at the park, everyone shows up to see Hilary, but Cane informs them that she left. Devon thinks Cane lied in an effort to clear his name. Lily isn’t buying Cane’s story either. Neil takes Cane aside and asks about his encounter with Hilary. Cane wonders why Neil believes him when the others don’t. Neil replies that Cane had no reason to take Hilary and it would be a mistake to blame him.
Devon and Lily head back to the athletic club. Lily tells Colin that she’s not standing by Cane anymore. Colin implies that Lily wants to be free to hook up with Joe (Scott Elrod). At Newman Enterprises, Kevin (Greg Rikaart) tries to convince Jack (Peter Bergman) and Victor (Eric Braeden) to work together to stop the rapidly spreading Paragon virus. The lights flicker and Victor sends Kevin to check the electrical system.
At Top of the Tower, Nikki and Phyllis bicker slightly over Jack and Victor as they prepare for the Halloween gala. It’s a benefit for the Delia Project. Nikki notices the flickering lights and thinks they need to be checked out Once Kevin takes a look, he tells Phyllis and Nikki that everything seems fine. We see someone in the electrical room and he or she connects a port to a laptop. The mysterious figure also overrides the security system on the computer in Victor’s office.
Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say Adam and Chelsea’s emotional roller coaster won’t be stopping anytime soon. Chelsea tells Adam about Chloe’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson) downward spiral. Adam doesn’t blame Chloe for wanting revenge. Chelsea indicates that she wants to stand by Adam through all of this. Adam tells Chelsea that he can’t feel his legs. The doctor explains that the paralysis is only temporary. It’s due to the drugs Adam was given before surgery.
When Chelsea steps out of the room, Victor and Jack pop in for a visit. Jack tells Adam that Victor has been making sure Chelsea was able to see him. Victor insists Adam’s sentence was far too harsh and this isn’t the end of the road. Talk turns to the Paragon virus and Chelsea comes back. Chelsea urges Jack and Victor to leave, but Victor says he’ll return later. Adam starts to feel his legs again and he encourages Chelsea to go to the benefit. Adam wants Chelsea and Connor (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois) to have a sense of normalcy in their lives.
Hilary runs into Gwen (Nadine Nicole) and wants to use her phone to call Devon. Gwen tries to get Hilary to come with her, but Emma (Alice Greczyn) ends up distracting Gwen long enough for Hilary to get away. Hilary sees Dr. Neville and recognizes him from the lake house. Dr. Neville quickly sedates Hilary to keep her quiet. It looks like the Hilary situation is under control for now, but how much longer can Neil and his posse hide the truth? Y&R rumors hint that things could get pretty complicated. Stick with the CBS soap to watch the drama heat up.
