‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers: Patty is BACK! Sharon Rejects Friendship

“Young and the Restless” spoilers are out; crazy Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) is back-, and it looks like she will turn the drama up in the next couple of weeks. Apparently, her brother Paul (Doug Davidson) was able to get her transferred to the dreadful facility, Fairview for treatment. And, it really paid off because she seems to be in a much better place.

Sharon (Sharon Case) decided, against her family’s advice, to voluntarily admit herself in the mental institution, Fairview. She told Dylan (Steve Burton), that her bipolar disorder was beginning to spiral out of control, and she had been feeling off for some time. She wanted to be proactive and seek inpatient treatment to get control of her condition. It is speculated that she wanted to get away to hide the fact that she lost her baby. She may need time to think about how she can give Dylan the family he craves.

In first 24-hours of being admitted to Fairview, Sharon runs into an old ‘friend,’ Patty Williams. She said, “Patty? What are you doing here?” Patty explains how she arrived at Fairview.   Her brother had her transferred from jail, in order to get the therapy she needed. Sharon appeared nervous that she ran into Patty, which made her feel like Sharon may be hiding something.

Patty approached the doctor on staff, Dr. Anderson (Elizabeth Bogush), about her concerned about Sharon. She explained they knew each other on the outside, and it was not like her to be so secretive. Dr. Anderson told Patty to give Sharon a few more days to adjust.

Head scribe and producer, Charles Pratt revealed that Patty wanted to help Sharon because she was sincerely was concerned. Patty had gotten the help she needed and is in remission and coherent. That’s right, “Y&R” fans, he called Patty coherent. He claimed that Sharon was avoiding Patty because she was hiding that she isn’t pregnant anymore. He went on to state that Patty wanted to know if her treatment was a success and if she can survive around some of her old behavior triggers in Genoa City.

Will Sharon and Patty team up? Is it possible that Patty will help her steal a baby to make Dylan a father? Maybe, Patty will be a good influence on Sharon and help her see the error of her ways. Eh, that’s probably a long shot; Patty returns on September 21.
