‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers: Chelsea Testifies On Adam’s Behalf In Court, Throws Billy Under The Bus?

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers tease that this week will be an emotional roller coaster with Adam Newman’s (Justin Hartley) trial. Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will take the stand and speak from the heart about her husband. Victor (Eric Braeden) will give Adam a piece of advice that he may or maybe not take. It is a great week before heading into November sweeps on October 26.

Michael (Christian LeBlanc) advised Chelsea that he needed him to testify on Adam’s behalf. The court needs to hear from the spouse, in order to understand Adam’s state of mind at the time of the incident. Before she testified Billy (Burgess Jenkins) slammed Adam once again by saying, “I can’t believe you’d consider defending his actions in court.”  What does Billy expect her to do? Adam is her husband, and she knows in her heart that it is possible he didn’t hit Delia on that terrible night. Even if he did hit her, Chelsea understands it was nothing but a terrible accident.

 The spoilers tease that Chelsea will defend her man and tell the court how upset he was the night in question. She will detail how distraught he was that night, after learning that Connor may never see again. She will restate that one of the main reasons he didn’t come forward originally was he was scared that Billy wouldn’t give Delia’s corneas for Connor. Chelsea reportedly will detail the events on the night he was thought to have died. “Billy told him he was taking him to confess to hitting sweet Delia, but he intended to take the law in his own hands,” Chelsea says to the court.

An unconfirmed spoiler stated that Sage (Kelly Sullivan) involvement will be questioned in the trial. Chelsea tells the court that Adam couldn’t have a part in changing his identity, he was in a coma. He wasn’t aware of what happened until he woke up six to seven months after the incident with Billy Abbott.  It was rumored that Sage will admit that Gabriel Bingham was the driver that night and that was the reason he saved Adam from the blazing car.

Whatever happens at the trial, one thing you can count on is mixed emotions. If Adam is acquitted, Billy will be livid, and out for blood- again. If he is found guilty, Victor will EVER forgive him for his part in Adam’s disappearance for over a year. Do you think Adam will be found guilty or innocent of killing Delia Abbott?
