‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers: Adam Delivers Sage’s Son, Billy Wants Him Arrested – Victor Grills Ian’s Hacker – Devon Suspects Colin

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, October 7, tease that in spite of Adam’s (Justin Hartley) misdeeds, he’ll manage to be a hero. Meanwhile, Devon (Bryton James) will get a ransom note and he’ll wonder if Colin (Tristan Rogers) is behind Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) disappearance. At Newman Enterprises, Victor (Eric Braeden) will believe he has a way to put an end to the Paragon Project.

In Wednesday’s episode, Nick (Joshua Morrow) panics about the threat against the company. Thanks to the Paragon Project, the supply chain has come to a complete stop. Victor suggests that he might have a solution to their problem. It seems Victor has located Ian’s (Ray Wise) hacker. Victor brings in the tech guy and questions him. The hacker replies that the virus can’t be destroyed, but Victor insists that he’s going to help them figure this out.

At Delia’s (Sophie Pollono) roadside memorial, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) urges Billy (Burgess Jenkins) to think before he acts. Billy asks if Victoria really believes Adam will be brought to justice if he sits back and does nothing. At the police station, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) gives Paul (Doug Davidson) updates on the fact that Adam is alive. Nikki’s concerned because Billy has gone after Adam, but Paul says they should all remain calm. Billy arrives and announces that he’s putting his faith in the legal system this time. Victor storms in and demands that Adam be arrested for his role in the cyberattack on his company.

At the park, Sage’s (Kelly Sullivan) water breaks and she doesn’t think she can make it to the car. Adam confidently states that he delivered Johnny (Holden and Ryan Hare) and he can deliver this baby, too. Adam helps Sage give birth to a boy. Sage is worried when the baby doesn’t cry and Adam yells out to someone passing by. They need an ambulance right now. After arriving at the hospital, Adam tells Stitch (Sean Carrigan) and Emma (Alice Greczyn) that Sage has lost a lot of blood. They assure Sage that they’re taking good care of her child.

Nick gets a call about Sage and heads to the hospital. Stitch says Sage is currently in surgery and the baby is in the NICU. Nick learns that Sage’s early labor may have been brought on by stress. Adam appears and Nick gets the news that he delivered Sage’s baby. Nick rips into Adam for upsetting Sage. Adam snaps back that this is on Nick. He’s the one who blew up at Sage. Adam adds that it’s a boy and tells Nick congratulations. Nick goes to the NICU to see his son and tells him to keep fighting like a Newman. After Sage comes out of surgery, Paul arrives to arrest Adam.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Gwen (Nadine Nicole) will do her best to help Neil (Kristoff St. John) keep his secret under wraps. At the lake house, Neil says they need more supplies for Hilary and Gwen agrees to get them with Emma’s badge. They’ll share a kiss as Gwen departs. Meanwhile, Devon opens a ransom note with Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Lily (Christel Khalil). The alleged kidnapper claims to have Hilary and implies that another note is on the way. Colin watches them from nearby.

Dylan (Steve Burton) learns about the the ransom note and they all talk about the possibilities. It could be a fake or some type of smokescreen. Devon lets Colin know that he’d better not be behind this. Colin says it’s ridiculous that Devon would even think such a thing. Later, the next note is dropped off by someone in a hoodie. This one demands that $1 million be left in the park by tomorrow night.

Back at the lake house, Gwen returns with the supplies and says Emma is the only one who knows she was there. Neil wonders if Gwen sent the ransom note, but she insists she doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Gwen contends that Neil is making himself crazy over all of this. Suddenly, Emma calls to tip them off about the police tracking devices in the boxes from the hospital. They take a look and sure enough, the trackers are there.

At the police station, an officer takes a call from Dylan. It causes him to miss the tracking signal and when he turns around, the signal is back offline. It appears Neil and Gwen caught their mistake just in time. However, Y&R rumors hint that their plan may hit a few more snags soon enough. Stick with the CBS soap to see how long they can hide the truth.
