‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoiler Monday October 26: Adam Rushed to Surgery, Could Die – Stitch’s Proposal to Abby Interrupted – Sage’s Baby Stops Breathing

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Monday, October 26, tease that Adam (Justin Hartley) will be rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery. Stitch (Sean Carrigan) will plan on proposing to Abby (Melissa Ordway), but Ashley (Eileen Davidson) will inadvertently get in the way. Elsewhere, Victor (Eric Braeden) will be on the warpath over the hit and run, but he’ll soften as he shares a tender moment with Connor (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois).

As Adam is crossing the street to be transported to prison, he’s struck by a hit-and-run driver. Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) shouts that they need an ambulance. Once it comes, Chelsea announces that she wants to ride with Adam. Michael (Christian LeBlanc) says that’s out of the question since Adam is a prisoner. Adam is taken to the hospital while the drama continues at the scene. Victor suggests that Billy (Burgess Jenkins) might be to blame. Victor adds that he wants answers. Jack (Peter Bergman) tells Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) to meet him at the hospital.

Stitch has planned a romantic dinner for Abby at the athletic club. Stitch says he hopes this will be an unforgettable night. It seems like Stitch is gearing up for a proposal when Ashley interrupts. Ashley starts talking about Adam’s sentencing and Stitch is called to the hospital for an emergency. After Stitch is gone, Abby says he was about to propose. Ashley doesn’t look excited by the news. Jack calls Ashley to give her updates on Adam’s injuries and she tells Abby to head to the hospital. Later, Ashley discovers the engagement ring in the bottom of Abby’s champagne glass.

At the police station, Christine (Laralee Bell) is upset because the incident with Adam hit too close to home. It reminded Christine of being struck down and losing her baby. Michael shows up and tells Paul (Doug Davidson) this definitely wasn’t an accident. No one heard screeching brakes or anything else that would indicate the driver tried to stop. This person was clearly on a mission to kill Adam. A little later, Christine hints that it was a good move for Michael to be Adam’s lawyer. A call comes in about the white car that hit Adam. It’s been spotted at a nearby motel.

At Crimson Lights, Billy is thanking Victoria (Amelia Heinle) for being so supportive when Jack comes in. Jack fills them in on the hit and run. Billy asks how Chelsea is handling everything. Jack suggests that Chelsea could lose Adam all over again. However, this time Adam may not be able to come back to his love. At the hospital, Sage (Kelly Sullivan) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) watch over Christian. Michael comes in to tell them about Adam’s sentencing and the fact that he was run down in the street.

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers say Adam’s going to need some serious help. Stitch takes charge and begins caring for Adam. Chelsea wants to stay with Adam, but the cops won’t allow it. Victor comes in ranting about Billy’s guilt again. Nick implies that Adam will make it because the rotten ones tend to survive. Sage tries to comfort Chelsea by insisting that she could tell Adam loved his family from the moment she met him.

Billy arrives with Victoria and Victor flies into a rage. Victor demands that Billy be arrested, but Victoria vouches for his whereabouts. Paul says he can’t really trust Victoria considering her track record with false statements. With that in mind, Paul wants to check out Billy’s car. Billy hands Paul his keys and declares he has nothing to hide.

Chelsea indicates that she’s grateful for what Billy said in court. Billy replies that he hopes Adam will pull through. Abby assures Chelsea that Adam has the best doctor around. Stitch says that Adam needs surgery ASAP and Chelsea is allowed to see him. Chelsea begs Adam to come back to her. Meanwhile, Sage and Nick hear Christian’s monitor going off. Their baby has stopped breathing.

In the midst of all this, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) notices that Victor is gone. Nikki worries that Victor might seek justice on his own. At Chelsea’s penthouse, Victor gives the babysitter some money and says he’ll take it from here. Victor tells Connor that his daddy loves him and prays that Adam can be there for his son.

At the athletic club, Billy and Jack make peace over the Adam situation. They both know they could’ve handled things differently, but they’re putting the past behind them. Jack says Adam is in good hands and he’s confident that he’ll make it. Y&R rumors hint that more drama lies ahead. Stick with the CBS soap to watch Adam fight for his life.
