‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Poll: Who Do You Think Murdered Kelly Andrews?

“Young and the Restless” loves to leave their fans hanging and not wrap up their storylines. They seem to assume their fans won’t remember, or will forget about it. The newest storyline that was dropped was Kelly Andrews (Cady McClain) murder cover up. Most of Genoa City believes that Kelly committed suicide, but what if it was a cover up? Is it possible she was murdered?

In May, Kelly was declared dead. She was found completely lifeless with blood dripping out of her mouth. Fans cannot help but speculate if it is possible that Marco (Peter Bergman) killed Kelly. She had her first encounter with Marco on Valentine’s Day when he raped her in the storage room. She believed at the time that it was Jack. When he was questioned by Ashley (Eileen Davidson) about the incident, he didn’t deny it, either.

Fans were not aware at the time that there was a look alike (Peter Bergman) prowling around Genoa City pretending to be Jack Abbott. At this point, he was practicing being Jack. When the Underground collapsed, Jack and Victor were hurt and spent time together in the hospital. They agreed then to work together professionally, which troubled Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Ashley. In hindsight, it is clear that Marco was the one who agreed to work with Victor. Jack would never work with Victor.

Victor paid Kelly to fake her suicide. His plan was everyone would think she was dead, so she could get away clean. He even had Stitch (Sean Carrigan) pick up her fake ashes. He promised her he’d take care of her as long as she did everything he told her to- including confessing to trying to murder Phyllis in order to get closer to Jack. She followed his instructions to a tee. When she was proven to be a liability to him, he found a way for her to be killed.

After Kelly died, she appeared to Jack in a vision. She told him she was ‘gutted like a fish.’ She implied she was murdered and did not kill herself. If she was murdered, who could have killed her: Marco, Jack or Det. Harding? The fact is, fans may never find out who killed Kelly. The writers want u to believe that she killed herself because she couldn’t have Jack all to herself. Who do you think killed Kelly Andrews?
