“Young and the Restless” has been action packed the past few days. After weeks of no drama, the show really kicked it in overdrive lately. From Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) to Nick (Joshua Morrow)- everyone has touted that everything wrong in their life is all Adam’s (Justin Hartley) fault. How can everything- including the whole Marco (Peter Bergman) terrorizing GC-be related to Adam in any way?
When it first came out that Gabriel was Adam, Phyllis was livid. She couldn’t believe that Jack would aid Adam, again. She wasn’t sure if this was something she could accept. She was so upset that Jack feared it could be a deal breaker for them. It ended up being something she could live with for the time being. She said, “If I didn’t let Marco break us, we won’t allow Adam to either.”

Sage (Kelly Sullivan) blamed Adam for everything from Gabriel dying to her break up with Nick. Now, hold the phone- how is Gabriel’s death Adam’s fault? Adam didn’t ask to be rescued or ask her to nurse him to health. She did all of that herself- because of her greed for the Bingham inheritance. On today’s episode, she blamed Adam for her marriage falling apart. Her marriage to Nick fell apart because she lied to him from the first moment he met her. She should have been honest with Nick from the get go; however, if she was, he wouldn’t have ever wanted to be with her, would he?
Oh Nick, tell us how all your problems are Adam’s fault? Please fill us in? And, really- you had to say he didn’t deserve the Newman name? Nick, you don’t deserve half the things you have been given. You don’t deserve Sharon’s (Sharon Case) love and attention, but you get it. Let’s be honest, you never liked Adam or felt like he should be a part of your family. He had to fight tooth and nail for everything he received for his father, Victor (Eric Braeden). You could have at least thanked Adam thank you for saving Sage son’s life; instead, you decide to kick your half-brother, Adam while he’s down.
Billy (Burgess Jenkins), Billy, where do we begin? You like to blame Adam for your daughter’s death, but have you accepted responsibility for your part? You left her in the car- in the dark- at night, alone. You were the irresponsible parent, not Adam. And, please stop telling everyone he murdered her. It didn’t happen that way exactly. If he did hit her, it was a terrible horrific accident, nothing more and nothing less.

Now, Soap Opera Spy is not implying that Adam is innocent of any wrongdoing. He launched a cyber-attack on Newman Enterprises. He is guilty of identity theft and fraud- even though he had no say initially. He had plenty of chances to come clean over the past year, and yet he stayed silent.
It seems like everything wrong with anyone in Genoa City this week is blamed on Adam. He cannot be at fault for everything. Newsflash for the Newman Minions, some things are out of Adam’s control. Do you think Nick, Billy, Sage and Phyllis were out of line blaming Adam for everything that went wrong in their lives? Does it grate your nerves when Billy says Adam “ran over Delia in cold blood”?
