‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) News: Jess Walton Returns To YR – Will Jill Dump Colin Once She Discovers Blackmail Scheme?

“Young and the Restless” star, Jess Walton posted a picture on Facebook revealing she was back on the set filming for an upcoming episode. Fans have been anxiously awaiting her return to the show since Jill (Jess Walton) has been off the show for a few months. The wait is over, “Y&R” fans Jill is back.

So what does that mean for Colin (Tristan Rogers) and Chancellor Industries? Colin and Jill have an understanding; he doesn’t get a say in business dealings with Chancellor Industries, and she will let Colin be himself- as long as he obeys the law. Colin seems to love Jill, and the two are a great pair together. Come on; how could you not love your husband when he blackmails a billionaire to buy a company for you?

Her return will be very interesting. If it comes out that Colin had a part in blackmailing Devon (Bryton James) – again- resulting in Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) disappearance, Jill is not going to be happy with her handsome husband at all. In fact, it could lead to Jill ending her marriage with Colin, once and for all. Fans have eagerly awaited her return to the show, so she could keep a close eye on her on-screen husband- who seems to be unbalanced without her.

Jess Walton has been a daytime actress for over 28 years. In 2012, she decided to semi-retire so she could spend more time with her family. She frequently shares pictures of her dogs and home in Oregon. She has posted many times that she thoroughly enjoys her work and couldn’t imagine doing anything but portraying Jill Abbott Atkinson. She has been pretty active on social media lately and seems genuinely excited to return to the fictional city of Genoa City. She returned just in time to film November sweeps.

There are so many questions about her return to the daytime drama. For example, where has Jill been for the past few months? How will they explain her absence? How will she feel about Colin being in cahoots with Neil (Kristoff St. John) in order to break up Devon and Hilary’s relationship?
