‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) News: Elizabeth Hendrickson Last Air Date October 28 – Chloe Did Not Set Gala Fire

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers are in; Soap Opera Digest confirmed that Elizabeth Hendrickson’s last air date was October 28. It blew a hole in the theory that an angry Chloe started the Newman gala fire. Chloe was arrested and is likely getting the treatment she needs at Fairview or some equally mediocre mental institution. It looks like the unknown villain who starts the blaze is an all-new threat to Genoa City.

Elizabeth originally said her stint would be a short one, but was open to coming back if they needed her for Chloe’s storyline. She praised the writing for the show, stating that it was on point in every single scene she taped. She expressed an interest in coming back permanently, but it looks like TPTB aren’t interested in keeping Chloe in GC right now.

Chloe left before she could drop the bombshell that she is hiding a daughter in California. It was rumored that she would die in the fire, and just before dying, she’d reveal the details about her secret daughter’s whereabouts and the baby’s father. She was arrested, and made everyone believe that she flipped her wig and believes that Delia [Sophie Pollono] is still alive? So if she is the only part, this child knows, and Esther [Kate Linder] isn’t aware of the child- who will take care of the child?

With Elizabeth’s recent exit set in stone, it looks like the baby’s existence may come out through someone else. She called someone to tell them that she needed them to water ‘her’ a few more days. Is it possible the babysitter may come to Genoa City looking for the missing mom?

The buzz on the Internet is that the babysitter will come into the coffeehouse looking for Chloe, and it will accidentally slip out she has her baby. It will, of course, raise more questions and open the door for Hendrickson’s return in a few months.

If written correctly, it could be a very interesting and compelling storyline. Do you think the baby is Kevin [Greg Rikaart] or Billy’s [Burgess Jenkins] child? Do you want Elizabeth Hendrickson to return as Chloe?
