‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) News: Daniel Goddard Updates Fans On His Condition Following His Surgery

“Young and the Restless” fan favorite Daniel Goddard revealed last week that he was injured on the set. He told his fans while he was filming a fight scene for November sweeps he was injured. Yesterday he updated social media, explaining he needed surgery to fix his broken elbow. He noted that the doctor planned to put a screw in his elbow to repair the break. His complicated surgery was scheduled for today.

Daniel updated his social media accounts to let fans know that he had his surgery and was doing well. He looked to be in a tremendous amount of pain but reported the surgery was a success. He will be out of work at least a few days as a result of the injury and surgery.

He posted to Facebook, “My dear friends I just want to give you an update. Surgery is done, but I’m bed ridden because I have to keep my elbow and arm above my heart to control all the swelling and internal bleeding from the break. Right now my arm looks like it got frostbite while climbing Mount Everest. Now there would’ve been a story! Anyway… I hope you’re all well and taking care of yourself… please be careful love you. Daniel.”

Fans posted their support on his social media accounts. It looks like he will get better soon, but it may be rough couple days while he recovers. Soap Opera Spy hopes he gets the rest he needs, and that he is up and back on the set in time.
