Elizabeth said the show didn’t reveal ANY of the storyline details to her beforehand. The writers were tightlipped about what her storyline entailed. In fact, Elizabeth noted that her fellow cast members were surprised to see her. She said, “They screamed and were so excited to see me.” She said she knew the material would be jaw-dropping. She said it was telling how the writers didn’t want any material leaked to the fans or media. “Whatever story they wanted to tell, I was sure it was going to be interesting. I was available, so why not? I love everyone on the set, and I didn’t have anything going on at the time. The hardest part was not telling anyone. It seriously was the hardest secret I ever had to keep,” Elizabeth Hendrickson said.
She noted that she wasn’t worried at all about the change in head writers since her last stint on the show. She said if the gig would have been a permanent role, she MAY have wanted to touch base with him. She noted that Chuck Pratt was great about letting her know all the details about her script, before it happened. “Sometimes you have to have to surrender and just trust those you work with, “Elizabeth noted.
She noted that going back into the soap world was difficult. She said she had a bunch of lines (pages of script) to memorize every day. She wasn’t sure she had what it took to pull it off anymore, especially when much of the cast is real heavy hitters. She said on the first day she was a little rusty, but once she did a few scenes; she thought to herself, “Okay I still got this.”

Elizabeth revealed that Chloe still has a HUGE plot to develop on the show. She noted she was not leaving the show just yet. She has been busy with other projects, but enjoys her time on “Y&R.” She was asked if she’d consider returning to the show on contract status, and she said, “Possibly. I would have to consider the timing and storyline. I am very interested in general in portraying Chloe.” It sounds like there is a great chance Chloe may return to Genoa City, for good!
