Eric Braeden has played Victor Newman on “The Young and the Restless” since the character debuted.  Victor was not slated to stay around for more than 8-10 weeks but the character was so well received they signed Eric to a contract.  Today Victor Newman is one of the best ruthless characters on Daytime TV and the soap world would not be the same without him.

      I myself am getting tired of Victor’s ways. The Jack & Victor thing is getting very tired to me. Jack is never going to win the upper hand on Victor.

      I got 60% on the Victor quiz. I have been watching Y&R from day one. Victor gets better looking with age. I have watched Victor in some westerns, like Gunsmoke, when he was younger. His voice is unmistakable. What a great actor. ?

        Disappointed in myself. I second guessed my mistakes. I have watched the show since it first aired. I remember Nikki and Paul in HS. Oh, it has been fun! I also remember when Victor first came to town with wife Julia. I recall spousal abuse by him or so it was implied.
        Sorry I missed so many questions.

      Victor is evil he put Julia’s lover Michael in the basement and she had too watch. I have to say her affair with Michael wasn’t her best moved Victor was punishing her and Michael. Victor doesn’t care who he hurt as long as he gets what he want.

      I have very fond memories of the soap which I watched over a decade ago. I had put myself in the position of Eric and hence suffered the Victor abuse.

      Love Y R. If you don’t watch it often, You miss some explanations/details, that explain why stuff if happening. The characters sometimes have repetitious story lines. Also some things are not common sense. But then it’s fiction. ?.
