‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers Week Of August 24: Sharon Shows off Engagement Ring, Her Plan Moves Forward – Adam & Chelsea Return to GC

“Young and the Restless” spoilers are rolling in and let me tell you, it’s going to be a week for the books. The week ended on Friday with the scooby gang closing in on the cabin murderer- Det. Harding (Chris McKenna). Dylan (Steve Burton) and Kevin (Greg Rikaart) put the pieces together and figured out that Harding had to be implicated in Courtney (Kelli Goss) and Austin’s (Matthew Atkinson) death. The whole thing is leading up to a dangerous showdown that will happen on Monday’s episode.

On Monday’s episode, Jack (Peter Bergman) and Victor (Eric Braeden) team up to get rid of Marco, once and for all. Marissa (Sofia Pernas) helped them when she tied Marco to the bed in the cabin. Once Marco was sent back to the prison in Peru, Victor puts Marissa on warning that she will not tell anyone about what happened at the cabin, ever- not even his grandson, Noah (Robert Adamson). She assures him she will keep the secret; however, he tells her if she tells anyone, he will run her out of town. Meanwhile on the GCAC rooftop, Dylan overheard Det. Harding order someone brings him a passport, so he can get out of town, and fast. He says, “Going somewhere, Detective?” They exchange insults until Harding pulls a gun at Dylan. On the Island, Devon (Bryton James) is being questioned by the police, and they think he may have killed Hilary. They tell him an eyewitness place him at the last-place Hilary was seen, and a man shoved her off the cliff.

On Tuesday, Paul (Doug Davidson) questions Victor and asked him if he ever met a man named Marco Annicelli. Of course, fans know that Victor is going to say that the name doesn’t ring a bell. Devon tells Michael (Christian LeBlanc) that the police put him in a lineup for the eyewitness to identify him. He thinks the cops think he murdered Hilary (Mishael Morgan). Sharon (Sharon Case) shows off her engagement ring, causing the Newman’s to snicker at her. Mariah (Camryn Grimes) considers taking her relationship with Kevin to the next level.

On Wednesday’s episode, Summer (Hunter King) demands answers from her mother, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) about Marco. She feels like her mother knows more than she is letting on. Victor put his deal with Jack at risk, by revealing privileged information to someone. Adam (Justin Hartley) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) discuss their future and living in Paris for good. The spoilers reveal that something will bring Adam and Chelsea back to Genoa City this week.

It’s a wedding episode on Thursday’s episode. Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sage (Kelly Sullivan) decide they can’t wait another minute to get married- they marry in Chancellor Park. Sage becomes visibly agitated when Marissa shows up to the wedding, as she knows Gabriel’s true identity. Michael and Lily (Christel Khalil) try to help Devon, but they aren’t sure the best way to help him. Devon continues to unravel at the thought of Hilary hurt somewhere alone. He becomes desperate to find her. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) worries that Neil (Kristoff St. John) has gone off the deep end, for good.

On Friday’s show, Chelsea will feel conflicted in a family feud between the Abbots and Newmans- she feels tied to both families. Sharon, who is still hiding her miscarriage from Dylan, put her plan in motion. No other details about it other than it isn’t related to her mental illness. Ashley (Eileen Davidson) will receive life-changing news. It is expected that the news will be Abby (Melissa Ordway) is pregnant.

Where is Hilary right now? Did Neil kidnap her? What plan did Sharon put into motion? And, is Abby pregnant? This week looks like it’ll be another explosive week on “Y&R.”
