‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers Wednesday November 4: Ian Unmasked As Devil, Faces off with Adam – Patty Killed in Explosion – Nick and Sage Learn Christian Dead

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, November 4, tease that Ian (Ray Wise) will be revealed as the mastermind of the horrific fire at Newman Enterprises. Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Patty (Stacy Haiduk) will clash before Patty is ultimately killed by an explosion. Stitch (Sean Carrigan) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) will talk about their true feelings when they feel the end is near. At the hospital, Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sage (Kelly Sullivan) will get some tragic news about their son.

As the helicopter comes to pick up more guests, Paul (Doug Davidson) tells Nick and Sage to go. Nick wants to make sure Victor (Eric Braeden) is all right, but Paul insists that they both need to get out of there immediately. Meanwhile, Victor urges Billy (Burgess Jenkins) to help him get Adam (Justin Hartley) to safety. Billy wants no part of it and Victor lashes out at him. Victor reminds Billy that Adam saved his life in a fire, but Billy heads off to find Stitch and Ashley. Victor manages to get Adam up to the ballroom.

Victor suggests that Adam can run and send for his family later. Billy overhears and is furious. Adam declares that he plans on taking his punishment and he insists on staying in the building. Joe (Scott Elrod) gets angry when there’s no room for him in the helicopter, but Abby (Melissa Ordway) says he can have her spot. Abby wants to find Ashley and Stitch before it’s too late.

Stitch tells Ashley to go get help, but she won’t leave him to die alone. As the reality of the situation sets in, they begin to discuss Stitch’s engagement. Ashley thanks Stitch for being good to Abby. They joke about the ring in the champagne glass. Eventually, Stitch confesses that he still has feelings for Ashley. They kiss until they hear a noise. Stitch thinks it sounds like a gas line. Abby calls out for them as she searches nearby. Suddenly, there’s a huge explosion. Stitch and Ashley are unconscious when Abby finds them.

Meanwhile, Paul learns that someone deliberately disabled the fire alarms. Elsewhere, Phyllis accuses Patty of starting the fire. Patty is appalled that Phyllis would think such a thing. Patty says she’s there to see Dylan (Steve Burton). Jack (Peter Bergman) wants Patty to help them, but she starts talking about how he’s choosing Phyllis over her. Patty grabs Phyllis and puts her in a choke hold. Jack pries them apart and tries to talk Patty down.

Jack says they can have a fresh start tomorrow, but Patty wants proof of his love. Patty kisses Jack and Phyllis throws a punch. Jack tries to get them both to safety and Patty keeps mumbling about what she has to tell Dylan. Before Patty can spill details on Dr. Anderson (Elizabeth Bogush), there’s another explosion and they’re all knocked out. When Jack and Phyllis wake up, they check Patty’s pulse and realize she’s dead. They make their way to the lobby and give Paul updates on what happened.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say we’ll learn who’s been causing all this chaos. Adam spots the person in the devil costume and goes to him. The villain is unmasked and we see that it’s Ian Ward! At the hospital, the kids are all safe and sound. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) is grateful for Mariah’s (Camryn Grimes) help. Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) learns that Adam went after her at Newman Enterprises and she’s upset that Michael (Christian LeBlanc) helped him escape. Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) explains the situation and Chelsea tells Michael she’s sorry.

Joe finds Lily (Christel Khalil) and lets her know he didn’t see Cane (Daniel Goddard). Lily becomes concerned when she hears about another big explosion as the helicopter was leaving. In the chapel, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) prays that Victor will make it. Nick and Sage head back to see Christian, but the nurse informs them that there were complications. Christian didn’t survive. Y&R rumors hint that Dr. Anderson has actually stolen the baby to give to Sharon (Sharon Case). Stick with the CBS soap to see how the rest of this storyline will unfold.
