“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, December 30, tease that Abby (Melissa Ordway) will be glowing as she prepares for her nuptials. This is a big day for Abby and Stitch (Sean Carrigan). As her female relatives gather around her, Abby gets ready to walk down the aisle.
Meanwhile, Dylan (Steve Burton) fears Stitch is having second thoughts. Ashley (Eileen Davidson) walks over and Stitch thanks for her helping them with their wedding. Ashley excuses herself and Stitch tells Dylan that Abby is the only woman for him. However, Stitch still wishes Max could be there.
Dr. Neville (Michael E. Knight) is drawing blood from Hilary (Mishael Morgan) at the lab when Neil (Kristoff St. John) arrives. Dr. Neville says he’s running late for the wedding; he’s escorting the mother of the bride. Neil is stunned by the news. After Dr. Neville leaves, Hilary tells Neil he shouldn’t be concerned. Dr. Neville is harmless. Hilary asks Neil for a lift for the wedding and he doesn’t mind.
Devon (Bryton James) arrives with Lily (Christel Khalil). Cane couldn’t make it because he’s sick. Lily mentions spending Christmas with Cane and hopes it meant a lot to him. Devon talks about spending the holidays with Hilary. He points out that they’re friends now. Stitch learns Dr. Neville is Ashley’s date. He warns Dr. Neville not to drag Ashley down in the dirt with him.
Back in the wedding prep area, Summer (Hunter King) tells Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) that Kyle (Lachlan Buchanan) isn’t feeling well and couldn’t come. They comment on the bug that’s going around. Abby keeps checking her phone and says she was hoping Jenna would change her mind about Max. Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) insists Abby shouldn’t let it get her down.
Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Adam’s (Justin Hartley) actions are about to create some questions. At Newman Enterprises, Adam declares that he needs to do something before the wedding and rushes off. Noah (Robert Adamson) wonders what Adam is up to and Victor (Eric Braeden) says he has no idea.
Adam asks Abby to invite Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva) and Marisa (Sofia Pernas) to the wedding. Ashley objects to the idea. Victor and Noah obviously wouldn’t like it. Adam insists that he just wants to end all the fighting. Nikki pipes up that Adam makes a lot of sense. Abby finally agrees to let Luca and Marisa attend.
Elsewhere, Luca tells Marisa they’re going to the ceremony and gives her updates on a project he’s working on with Adam. Marisa warns Luca to be careful. They show up at the wedding and Noah gives them a glare. Victor approaches and demands to know what they’re doing there. Adam says he invited Luca and Marisa with Abby’s approval. Noah says it’s fine.
At the bar, Luca indicates that he’s shocked by how harsh Victor was being in public. Luca admits that his own father only bashes him in private. Adam reminds Luca that they need to take down their fathers. Nearby, Marisa explains to Noah that she didn’t want to come. Noah tells Marisa that he loves her and suggests he’ll be waiting when Luca shows his true colors.
Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) is bummed about living in the penthouse because she doesn’t get to see Sully there. Sage says she’ll take Faith to the ranch for a visit. Nick (Joshua Morrow) chats with Dylan about working things out with Sage.
Everyone tries to gather up all of Abby’s bridal essentials. She needs something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue. Abby gets some earrings from Victoria and a bracelet that was Colleen’s. Ashley hands over an embroidered handkerchief that John (Jerry Douglas) gave her as a young girl. Ashley tells Abby how much she loves her and they hug.
At the athletic club, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) spots Billy (Burgess Jenkins) drinking. He quickly states that it’s just iced tea. Phyllis learns Billy’s bookie has been calling and she’s furious that he’s betting money he doesn’t have. Jack (Peter Bergman) comes in and Billy tells him about a potential business opportunity. Billy says they’ll talk later and leaves.
Kevin (Greg Rikaart) is annoyed when Billy tells him he doesn’t have the money yet. Kevin shouts that he’ll find someone else if Billy can’t come through by tomorrow. Billy returns to Jack and asks for a $2.2 million loan. Billy’s accounts are frozen because of Paragon.
Jack realizes Billy has been betting again and refuses to give him anything without details. Billy leaves in a huff. At a parking garage, Billy meets with a bookie who clearly means business. The bookie shouts that it’s time for Billy to pay up.
Finally, the ceremony starts and the wedding party gets in place. Victor walks Abby down the aisle and hands her over to a smiling Stitch.
As the minister begins to speak, Ashley looks dazed and falls out of her chair. Everyone rushes to Ashley’s side. Y&R rumors hint that more drama is on the way. Stick with the CBS soap to see how Ashley will handle this crisis.
