‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers: Victor Puts Billy on Blast, Shares Father-Son Love With Adam – Best Line of The Day

“The Young and the Restless” has not been short in the drama the past few weeks. On Wednesday, November 4, Victor [Eric Braeden] delivered the best line of the day. Victor and Billy [Burgess Jenkins] were looking for their family members, and they stumbled upon Adam [Justin Hartley] passed out in the stairway, after Ian [Ray Wise] attacked him.

Victor slaps Adam to wake up him and when he comes to, he tells his father, he is feeling extremely weak. Victor asked Billy to help him get to the helicopter with Adam. Billy says, “No way, I am going to find my brother Jack.”

Victor goes into full papa bear mode and demands he helps him. He still refuses to help Adam in no way, shape or form. Victor says, “Look you, son of a b*tch, he saved your ass not even a year ago from the fire. “Eventually, that didn’t deter Billy, he leaves them to look for Jack. Victor tells Adam, “You are strong, look at you climbing these stairs one day after your surgery. Do you what that means? You are a Newman.”

They arrived at the ballroom, and Victor told Adam to run and send for his family later. He said, “I don’t want you in jail, son.” Billy interrupted them and implies that Adam wasn’t sincere about regretting hitting Delia.

Victor stands up and says, “Look Billy; this isn’t about you or Delia. This man you cannot stand is my son, my boy. I am trying to protect him. Remember you standing up there talking about coming short of protecting your daughter- that’s I want to do, protect my boy.” It fell on deaf ears; Billy questioned if he can compare Delia to Adam. Adam replied, “Dad, I am not going to run I’ll serve my sentence. It’s what I deserve”

Victor felt emotional hearing his son take responsibility and call him dad. He has been calling him Victor for so long; it must have been a sweet sound. It looks like Victor and Adam’s relationship could improve, and it is easy to see how he will end up with a CEO position at Newman Enterprises in the coming months. How will Adam get out of his prison sentence?
