‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday December 10: Lily Sets up Joe, He’s Furious Traps Her – Dr. Anderson Plots Against Nick, Approaches Sage – Dylan Has Surprise for Sharon

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday, December 10, tease that secrets and schemes will continue to stir up trouble in Genoa City. At Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sage’s (Kelly Sullivan) place, he gives her flowers and lets her know he’s happy she’s home. Nick asks Sage to dance, but she turns him down. Being there reminds Sage of Christian and she still wants to move into the penthouse.

Nick says he boxed up Christian’s stuff from the nursery and donated it. Sage is outraged and feels like Nick is trying to pretend Christian never existed. Nick replies that he kept a few items and he’s sorry if he did the wrong thing. Sage admits they didn’t have use for Christian’s stuff now anyway. Nick insists that he’ll give Sage space and be her rock at the same time. Sage just doesn’t think Nick can fix her. The ache is so dark and deep. Sage doesn’t know how she can live the rest of her life.
At Crimson Lights, Dr. Anderson (Elizabeth Bogush) checks in with Sharon (Sharon Case). Sharon tells Dr. A that she’s so in love with Sully that a small part of her fears she might lose him. Sharon wonders if thinking that way is normal and asks if Dr. Anderson believes she belongs back in Fairview. Dr. Anderson says Sharon is doing well. She just wanted to make sure of that.

Sharon thanks Dr. A for all her help and talks about how happy she is now. Even something like watching Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) skip over to Nick’s place brings her joy. Dr. Anderson is stunned by the news that Nick and Sharon live so close to each other. The doc asks if Nick comes by to see Sully often and Sharon says he’s still trying to work through things.

Later, Dr. Anderson looks at an article titled “Newman Golden Boy” on her laptop. There’s a picture of Nick when he was young. Dr. Anderson looks upset as she snaps the laptop shut. Dr. A picks up a cell phone that’s on a table.

Meanwhile, Dylan (Steve Burton) feeds the baby and spends time with Faith. Paul (Doug Davidson) drops by for a visit and holds Sully. He tells Dylan he’s proud of him. Dylan asks Paul if he’ll help him out with Sharon’s Christmas gift. Paul agrees to Dylan’s plan and leaves. Sharon wonders why Paul left in such a rush. Faith wants to make a list for Santa and Sharon says she has everything she could possibly want.

Faith gives Dylan a Christmas sock with the letter “D” on it. She says it stands for Daddy because he’s Sully’s dad and he’s kind of one to her. Nick shows up and wants to know if Faith can stay with him. Dylan seems surprised since he thought Faith was spending the night with Sharon. Nick tells Faith it will be just the two of them and he’ll make her pancakes. Dylan thinks maybe tomorrow night would be better. They have stuff going on tonight. Sharon wonders what Dylan’s deal is, but he continues to stall.

There’s a knock at the door and Santa Claus enters. He has presents for Faith, Sully and even a special one for Sharon. When Sharon opens the box, there are bride and groom statues inside. Santa asks if anyone is in the mood for a wedding.

At the park, Dr. Anderson finds Sage and asks what’s wrong. Sage talks about lashing out at Nick for packing up the nursery. Dr. Anderson insists that she shouldn’t blame herself, but Sage thinks there’s no one else to blame. Sage suggests that she should just go home to be with Nick, but Dr. A thinks they both need space. Dr. Anderson feels they should take time to grieve alone.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Lily (Christel Khalil) will devise a scheme to trap Joe (Scott Elrod). At the athletic club, Lily tells Cane that she wants to go pick out a Christmas tree. Devon (Bryton James) walks over and hears Cane shout that Lily should get lost.

As Joe eavesdrops nearby, Cane gives Devon updates on Joe and Lily’s night together. He says Lily also claims to have feelings for Joe now. They argue until Lily says she can’t do this anymore. Lily declares that she hates Cane and she won’t try to save their relationship. Lily storms off and Devon rips into Cane for how he treated Lily. Cane says it was all an act for Joe’s sake. They have proof that Joe set him up and they’re trying to trap him. Devon apologizes for doubting Cane’s innocence and says he wants to help.

Joe comforts Lily and insists that Cane is a jerk. Lily feels bad for the kids and Joe offers to take her to get a Christmas tree. On the way, Joe and Lily’s car breaks down as the snow falls around them. There’s no cell service, so they walk to the Abbott cabin. Joe lights some candles and suggests that he can build a fire. He strokes Lily’s hair and tells her she’s beautiful. Joe adds that he knows a way they can stay warm.

Lily isn’t responding to the texts and Cane starts freaking out. Back at the cabin, Lily tells Joe that they should just talk. Joe says he’s crazy about Lily, but she continues trying her phone. Joe finally realizes something’s up and wonders why Lily is pushing him away. Lily replies that she wants to take this slow, but Joe asks if this is a setup.

Joe starts to rant and Lily runs to the door. Joe puts his hand on it and says Lily isn’t going anywhere. Y&R rumors hint that things could get ugly. Stick with the CBS soap to see how Lily will get out of this mess.
