“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Monday, November 30, tease that Victor (Eric Braeden) will call a surprise witness to help Adam (Justin Hartley) win his appeal. Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Billy (Burgess Jenkins) will continue plotting while Lily (Christel Khalil) agrees to help Cane (Daniel Goddard) clear his name. At the courthouse, Judge Elise Moxley (Jensen Buchanan) will deliver a final decision on Adam’s fate.
At Jabot, Billy and Phyllis discuss their scheme to bring down Victor. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) comes in and the conversation shifts to Adam’s appeal. Billy says he wants a front-row seat. After Victoria exits, Phyllis tells Billy that they’re only going after Victor. They want to make sure the rest of the Newman family won’t be hurt by their plot. Later, Phyllis meets with Topher (Brian Dare) and gets him to send a video to Ian (Ray Wise). On the video, Phyllis says Victor is out for blood and she needs Ian to get in touch with her.
Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) shows up to visit Adam in prison. Adam wants to believe he has a deal with Victor, but he’s still not sure he can trust him. Victor might just want Adam to crash and burn in court. Chelsea encourages him to have faith in Victor and suggests that this is how he shows his love. Adam still has doubts, but Chelsea insists that Adam is coming home with her after court.

At the athletic club, Victor receives a call from Judge Elise Moxley, who says she won’t be blackmailed into making her decision. Elise says Michael (Christian LeBlanc) needs to do a good job defending Adam or else she might make his sentence even longer. Victor meets with Michael to discuss their strategy and brings up the idea of a surprise witness. Michael leaves and Victor makes a call to the person he has in mind.
Meanwhile, Joe (Scott Elrod) invites Lily to breakfast, but she’s not interested. Joe can tell that something’s up and he presses her for answers. Joe thinks Colin (Tristan Rogers) lured him away from his room so she could search his suite. Lily replies that she was looking for a blanket, but Joe shouts that Cane is filling her head with lies. Lily snaps back that Joe is the liar since they found the black hoodie in his safe.
At the police station, Paul (Doug Davidson) gives Cane updates on the DNA evidence from the hoodie. Joe’s DNA was on it, but the hoodie was obtained illegally and won’t hold up in court. If they’re going to get Joe, they’ll need to go by the book. Paul thinks Cane should let the police handle it. Joe comes to see Paul and says he wants to report a burglary. Paul pulls out the hoodie and asks if looks familiar. Joe claims he’s being framed.
Back at the athletic club, Cane lets Lily know that Joe’s DNA was found on the hoodie, but they can’t use it as evidence. Lily feels bad about telling Joe they found it. Joe’s bound to retaliate now. Cane wants Lily’s help to clear his name and she agrees to do everything she can.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say Victor’s tactic will stir up trouble. At the courthouse, Abby (Melissa Ordway) is revealed as Victor’s surprise witness. Abby won’t want to testify, but Victor will remind her that Delia’s (Sophie Pollono) death was an accident. Plus, Adam is Abby’s brother and she needs to stand by him. Billy hears the plan and flies into a rage. Billy suggests that Victor wants Abby to lie on the stand. Victor maintains that he just wants Abby to tell the truth. Billy gripes that Victor is always manipulating people into doing what he wants.
When Abby is called to the stand, Christine (Laralee Bell) objects. Judge Moxley says she’ll allow it. Michael asks Abby to describe what happened the night of the fire. Michael points out that Adam risked his life to save Abby, Stitch (Sean Carrigan) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson). After stating the facts, Michael asks if Abby believes Adam has paid for his crime and learned his lesson. Abby admits that she thinks so.
Judge Moxley deliberates and eventually returns with good news. The judge says Adam didn’t act with malice or cruelty. Judge Moxley tells Adam that she’s reducing his sentence to five years of probation and 1000 hours of community service. However, Adam will need to be on his best behavior because this is his last chance. Afterwards, Victoria can tell that Billy is angry and she’s worried about what he might be planning.
