‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers July 23: Victor Threatens Jack, Adam Resigns As CEO Admits Not An Abbott, Jack Defends Victor

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday July 23, 2015 reveal that Jack knows everything Victor did to him including having him replaced by Marco.  However, much to our surprise Victor defends himself and comes back at Jack telling him he knows about “The Paragon Project” that was coming after Newman Enterprises over one-year ago.  Jack was shocked.  Meanwhile, Noah convinces the Scooby Doo gang not to go to Paul with the information they have about Marisa and Marco.

The Thursday July 23, 2015 episode of “Y&R” opens with Victor [Eric Braeden] in Jack’s [Peter Bergman] room with Victor saying to Jack, “Dr. Rayburn didn’t say anything about you being alive.” Jack responds, “Really after you worked so hard to get rid of me? I am talking now and you are listening. The day you said you wanted to buy Jabot I knew you were up to something never in my darkest nightmare did I imagine the length you would go to to get what you wanted. Getting a look alike to replace me and helping a man a vicious criminal take over my company, manipulate my family, sleep with my wife!” Victor tells Jack to calm down but Jack is furious and screams, “Don’t you tell me to calm down I am calling the shots now, not you!”

Phyllis [Gina Tognoni] comes to see Billy [Burgess Jenkins] she is wired because of what Jack told them. Billy says he should have been smarter he should have known. Phyllis wants to know what they are going to do and Billy tells her they need to, “Bounce the lying weasel from the company now by proving that Gabriel Bingham[Justin Hartley] is not an Abbott by running another DNA test.”

Kyle [Lachlan Buchana] and Summer [Hunter King] are kissing and Kevin Gregg Rikaart] and Mariah [Camryn Grimes] show up. Kevin says he has BIG news. Kevin discovered a connection between Marisa [Sophia Pernas] and the murders.

Noah [Robert Adamson]tells Marisa she can trust him but she needs to tell the truth Noah is worried Mariah had something to do with the Cabin murders. Marisa denies it and says she was not in town but Marco [Peter Bergman] was.

Stitch [Sean Carrigan] tells Abby [Melissa Ordway] she needs to be a model patient. Abby agrees and Gabriel comes in to see her, he heard she was in an accident. Abby says she wants to come back but not sure he will let her after the deal she made with the warehouse workers.

Kevin tells them he dug up information on Marisa and found out her boyfriend was Marco Anicelli. Kevin tells them he told Noah but they doubt he will believe that Marisa was involved in the cabin murders. Kevin tells them he is going to Paul [Doug Davidson]with the evidence. Summer and Kyle don’t think it is a good idea.

Marisa tells Noah Marco did not tell her anything but he could have been the killer – he was in town months before she got there. Marisa tells him she came to town to find Marco and they left town together but had an accident the car went in the water she got out and swam to shore but Marco was trapped in the car and died. Noah wants to call the police if Marco was the killer the police need to know. Marisa stops him and says if Marco’s people find out she is dead.

Adam tells Abby that the deal she made was not that bad. Abby tells him Billy said the deal was bad. Adam tells her she is doing great and he has faith in her. Adam tells her to get some sleep he has to see Jack.

Stitch takes Adam aside and tells Adam Jack has been overwhelmed with visitors and he should come back the next day. Adam’s phone rings and it is Chelsea [Melissa Claire Egan] she tells him to come to her house right away he is in serious trouble.

Jack asks Victor what was his plan, “Have Kelly[Cady McClain] torture me. It was sick to use that woman’s poor tortured mind. You had her kidnap me so Marco could take over while I was away. It was not until Kelly was dead for real that I escaped. You put me through hell and back and You are going to pay for it!.” Victor, “I understand you are confused Jack considering you have been in a coma but I am NOT going to pay for what you went through!” Jack, “FAT CHANCE!!” Victor, “Maybe it was Kelly and Marco who cooked this all up. Did that ever occur to you I had nothing to do with any of it.” Jack, “God you lie as easy as you breath of course you had something to do with it it was all about you. It always is, always has been and always will be . What does Victor need and want. When you shot me in the park what was the plan to put me out of the picture?.”

Victor is not pleased and tells Jack to slow down. Victor admits the night he shot Jack in the park he thought it was Marco and he was reaching for his gun. Victor claims he shot Marco in self-defense.

Jack is not buying it and asks Victor why he did it. Victor tells him a year ago he found out about a plot against him and his company called Paragon Project. He asked Jack if it rings a bell. Jack asks Victor, “How did you know about that, who told you.” Victor says he has his sources and he was defending himself, his family and his company and if he knew it was Jack he would not pull the trigger. Victor tells him to remember what is on his hands and then he can think about how much he wants the world to know!

Victor says it sounds like Jack was responsible for Kelly’s death but Jack claims he went to sleep and when he woke up Kelly was dead. Victor tells Jack Marisa told him that Jack blew a boat up and killed 12 people. Victor tells Jack that he is sure Jack does not want the world to know what happened and he threatens Jack that maybe the Island will try to bring him back for Kelly’s death and maybe someone will come after him for the people who died on the ship. He tells Jack to think about it.

Meanwhile, Noah is telling Marisa he wants to take care of her but his friends might go to the police. Marisa begs him to stop them and promises she won’t run.

Summer wants Kevin to wait before he runs to the police she is fed up jumping to conclusions.

Phyllis tells Billy they need to get a clean sample of Gabriel’s prints. Billy says it is going to be easy.
Chelsea tells Adam that she overheard Ashley and Billy and they want to get another DNA sample from him to prove he is not Jack’s son. Adam says it is not the best news in the world, but not the worst. Chelsea is freaking she thinks Billy and Phyllis are going to keep pushing. She is also worried that Victor is out on bail she thinks it is all too dangerous. Adam does not want to let Victor win.

Chelsea warns Adam obsessing over Victor will cost him his son. She asks if he is willing to sacrifice it how far is he willing to push it because he wants to beat Victor.

Abby tells Stitch he is a good doctor and he should not let her mother put him in an uncomfortable position. Stitch assures her Ashley is not interfering in his job. Abby is suspicious.

The Scooby gang asks Noah what Marisa said when he confronted her. Noah tells them she came clean. Kevin is thrilled he is calling Paul because Marisa can put Marco in town. Noah stops him.

Adam and Chelsea come into his office and he tells Billy and Chelsea he is stepping down as CEO and he came to get his stuff. Adam tells them Victor is back and he decided not to fight a losing battle Chelsea helped him decide. Phyllis is shocked because she tells Adam he swore to protect the company for his father. Billy pipes in but, “WE KNOW JACK IS NOT YOUR FATHER GABRIEL, JACK TOLD US!”

Adam is excited and thinks it is good news that Jack has woken up. Adam admits Jack is not his father.

Jack tells Victor he is not surprised Victor is twisting everything. Jack tells Victor, “Lets wage war we will go after each other till one man is standing it will almost be worth it!” Victor asks if that is really what Jack wants to do and he replies, “I said ALMOST!” Victor says, “Good then we have a misunderstanding and you know what to do.” Jack promises that he will stick to the plan but warns him they are not the only people that know Marco exists. Victor tells him, “Past tense, existed! Marco is at the bottom of the lake.” Jack says Marisa would not lie about it. But he reminds Victor Gabriel Bingham knows too. Victor is doubtful and says, “If he knew why didn’t he tell me?” Stitch comes in and tells Victor he should leave. Victor wishes Jack a quick recovery and leaves.

Noah tells The Scooby gang they have justice because Marco is dead. Mariah is suspicious that Marisa is lying. Noah tells them he believes her. And he wants them to drop it and accept the killer is gone.

Marisa is packing her clothes to leave town.

Stitch checks Jack out and says he looks okay. Jack asks Stitch for one last favor.

Adam admits to falsifying the DNA test and lying he was an Abbott. He also says Jack was in on it because he knew how much he hated Victor for how he treated Harrison Bingham. Phyllis and Billy don’t believe that Jack was involved. Chelsea defends Adam and they tell her to stay out of it. Adam and Chelsea leave.

Billy is shocked Adam stepped down. Phyllis gets a call and it is Stitch he tells Phyllis Jack is waking up. Phyllis sobs and says she is coming right away.

Summer promises not to go to the police and tries to convince the rest of the Scooby gang. They all finally agree. Noah is going to let Marisa know they are not going to the police.

Phyllis is at Jack’s bedside and begs her to open her eyes. Billy and Abby come in and Jack opens his eyes and says, “You should not have to wait any longer.”

Chelsea tells Adam it was a smart move. Adam thanks Chelsea for making him see the light.

Chelsea leaves and Victor comes into the Athletic Club and sits next to Adam.

Kevin and Mariah are alone – and tells Mariah they are going to the lake where Marco is suppose to have drowned.

Meanwhile Noah tells Marisa she is safe no one is telling anything and Marisa starts kissing him. She pulls back and apologizes and says she wanted to say thank-you. She tells him she trusts him and then starts kissing him again then pushes him away again and says she should not. Marisa tells him she does not want to ruin things he is to important to her. Noah says, “Okay, see you tomorrow.” He leaves and tells her he is glad she kept her promise.

Chelsea tells Connor she thinks she is living in a bad dream she wanted his Daddy to be alive and now he is back in their life and …

Adam tells Victor he has seen the smug look on Victor’s face and he knows Victor knows he stepped down as CEO and he is not Jack’s son. Victor is surprised. Adam says, “That gun you planted at Chelsea’s apartment I am going to be arrested for obstruction that is my undoing. You will probably never see me again. Except Jack is communicating and he is going to tell the truth about what happened.” Victor looks smug and says, “Yes I am sure when Jack wakes up he will set the record straight.”

The whole family is there to see Jack and they are all excited. Billy wants to talk to Jack about everything and Phyllis tells him not to stress Jack out. Jack says, “No I want to talk I heard a lot when I was in the coma. Victor WAS TELLING The truth, I had a gun with me in the park. He shot me in self defense!” Everyone looks on shocked.

That is it “The Young and the Restless” fans!  Do you think Victor is going to reveal to Adam that he  know that Adam knew about Marco?  Abby is suspicious is she going to figure out her boyfriend has a thing for her mother?  What is going to happen to Adam now that Jack is awake?
