‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers July 13: Chelsea Learns Gabriel is Adam Newman, Avery Threatens To Kill Joe, Jack Reveals He Knows Marisa

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for July 13, 2015 reveals that Gabriel/Adam was a little too arrogant and decided to toast himself as Adam Newman. The problem is Chelsea overheard his toast and now she knows he is Adam Newman. Meanwhile, Avery held Joe at gunpoint and threatened to kill him if he did not admit he raped her. While all this was going on Paul found the real rapist.
The Monday July 13, 2015 episode of “Y&R” opens with Dylan [Steven Burton]in his apartment with Sharon [Sharon Case] and Dylan says, “OMG my gun is missing. I know who has it!”
Over at Joe’s [Scott Elrod] room at The Athletic Club Avery [Jessica Collins] says, “We have to finish this tonight.” Joe invites Avery in and she enters his room.
Michael [Christian LeBlanc] comes into The Underground and Sage [Kelly Sullivan] says, “Are you having a bad night?” Michael responds, “No it cannot be easy on you your ex-husband is the star witness against your father-in-law.” Sage tells him she is just trying to stay out of it. Sage asks Michael if he is there to drink or to grill her? Michael says, “Both! You know Gabriel [Justin Hartley]better than anybody so what has he got against Victor [Eric Braeden]?”
Gabriel in the Newman Jabot office with Victoria[Amelia Heinle], Billy [Burgess Jenkins], Chelsea [Melissa Claire Egan] and Nick [Joshua Morrow] and Victoria says, “We cannot stay here all day!” The group is trying to make a mission statement for Newman Abbot and Gabriel keep rejecting everything they say. Billy says, “Our parents worked all their lives making the company now you are making us come up with words that don’t mean anything!”
Chelsea says, “It is about creating a new company for the next generation.” Gabriel says, “That is it, that is the slogan we need.” They all decide that is their new mission statement.
Marisa [Sophia Pernas] is in Jack’s [Peter Bergman] hospital room and she says to Jack, “I told you not to go to the park.” Jack says in his mind, “Don’t count me out.” Marisa continues, “I did not make it here to see you die in bed get up! You need to get out of this bed and claim your life.” Phyllis [Gina Tognoni] comes in and says, “Who the hell are you? What are you doing with my husband?”
Back at Newman Jabot Gabriel says, “A new company for a new generation.” Nick says, “It sounds like a commercial for a commercial for a soft drink company.” Victor says, “Stop it, your only jealous because you did not think of it Nick.” Billy says, “It really is not that bad. “ Gabriel says, “Why don’t you admit it is a good thing.” Victoria says, “Can we go now?” Gabriel says, “We are now a team united!”
Gabriel and Chelsea are kissing everyone is gone.
Sage says to Michael, “I don’t know what you want me to say Gabriel blames Victor for his father’s death. He saw a chance for revenge and he took it.” Michael says, “He would carry such a need for revenge for so many years?” Sage says, “Gabriel was very close to his father.” Michael says, “But Gabriel knows Jack is his father now? You would think that would make him drop is anger but it made it more incensed. Why do you think that is Sage?” Sage says, “You better speak to Gabriel.” Michael says, “I did but he is not very forthcoming. So I did some background checking on my very dear friend and it is all good but there is a big blank in it all. About the time he showed up in Genoa City he fell off the grid for one year. Why did he fall off the grid for one year? Where was he for one year?” Sage says, “His grandmother was sick!” Michael says, “How did a loving grandson turn into a manipulative ruthless man?”
Phyllis says to Marisa, “Who are you? Did Victor send you here to finish the job he started? “ Marisa says, “NO!” Noah [Robert Adamson]walks in. Noah says, “I got a message your were hurt at the bar, you cut yourself.” Phyllis says, “I don’t believe you cut your hand.” Phyllis grabs Marisa’s hand and it is cut.
Joe asks Avery if she wants a drink and Avery says, “Yes!” Avery downs the drink in one gulp and then he says, “There is not reason to have the cops involved I know you stopped by so we can settle this by ourselves.” Avery says, “Yes!” Joe says, “If you tell me you don’t think I did it I will drop my suit against Paul [Doug Davidosn]and Dylan. It will be no harm, no foul. I think it is a decent proposition.” Joe turns his back to Avery and she pulls out the gun.
Paul is at the GCPD on the phone and he says, “Impound the car, we will hold off on the apartment until daylight tomorrow. Make sure you get a clean arrest. I want this guy. Bring him in now!’
In the meantime, Dylan is in the office with Paul and Sharon [Sharon Case] and he says to Dylan, “We have a guy and we are going to arrest him – he was in progress of assaulting someone when we stopped him and he had a ski mask on like the person who raped Avery. It is definitely possible it is the same person. We will process him on everything we have and we will see if it matches Avery’s case. I had a feeling another suspect would appear.”
Dylan tells Paul, “Avery took my gun.”
Avery is holding the gun on Joe and Joe says, “You don’t have to do this.” Avery is hysterical and says, “Sit in the chair, you are not getting away with this.”
Sage and Michael are in the bar she says, “If you have anymore questions you should asks Chelsea!” Michael says, “Chelsea is the reason your marriage broke up!” Sage tells Michael it is none of his business. Michael says, “Spill!” Sage won’t say anything.
Chelsea says, “Gabriel you know they won’t stop till they get their away!” Gabriel says, “That is adorable, they cannot beat me. Nick has a golden heel, be did not get it from his father. That will be his downfall. Victoria is like her Dad blindly devoted to her family that is her downfall. Billy is flawed but he won’t admit it. He is loyal to his brother and what is his weakness but Victoria. He never got over his former love. It makes him vulnerable. Lets make a toast.” Chelsea says, “How do you know so much about everyone?” Gabriel says, “I did my homework.” Chelsea says, “It is like you know these people for ever. Victoria, Billy and me what is your secret?”
Phyllis goes to see Jack and says, “Is it just me or does Marisa know you?” He squeezes her hand, “YES!”
Joe says, “You pushed me off the balcony.” Avery says, “You pretended you could not walk. I lost Dylan because of you. The only man I ever loved. You grabbed me in the alley, you hit me when we were married.” Joe says, “I only hit you once.” Avery says, “Once is enough!” Joe says, “I did not rape you.” Avery says, “You ruined my life and you are not leaving this room till you confess.” Avery is screaming and waving the gun.
Paul is sending a car over to Avery’s house. Dylan says, “You did the right thing but Avery is not home she is at Joe’s house. By the time you find Avery it may be too late.”
Billy says to Victoria, “The harder we push Gabriel, the harder he pushes back. I don’t know why Chelsea does not see through that sleaze bag.
Gabriel says to Chelsea, “You make me out as a super hero because I know so much about Victoria and Billy.” Sage phones Gabriel and tells him that Michael is checking up on him. There is a knock on Gabriel’s door he answers and it is Michael he says if that is Sage on the phone tell her she is too late I have already talked to Sage about your lost year and I want to know if your version is the same.
Phyllis says to Jack, “Did Victor try to lure you to the park?” Jack squeezes his hand and indicates NO!
Gabriel tells Michael, “I was looking after my sick grandmother. When I was a kid I was wild. My grandmother’s last year I spent with her.” Michael’s phone rings and it is the police and he tells Gabriel the police are investigating him too they are going to find out what is going on and we will see you in court.
Joe says to Avery, “You are not thinking this through!” Avery says, “Just say you raped me and I won’t kill you! You say it or I am going to pull the trigger.” Joe says, “Okay I did it.” Dylan knocks on the door and comes in and Avery says, “Joe just admitted he raped me.” Dylan tells her to put the gun down and she is going to do it and then she says, “You get over by Joe too. Joe did it he raped me, he admitted it.”
Chelsea says to Gabriel, “I was right you have it in for everyone. Jack deserves to have someone stick up for him.”
Dylan is still trying to convince Avery to put the gun down. Avery shoots the gun up in air and says, “ I am not done.” Paul comes in gun drawn and tells Avery to put the gun down.
Phyllis gives Jack a pen and tells him to write the name of the man down who Victor wanted to shoot. Jack writes a name down but Phyllis cannot make the name out.
Back in Joe’s place Avery does not want to put the gun down. Dylan is counting and hoping Avery is going to put the gun down but Avery has totally lost it, she is hysterical but she finally puts the gun down and that is when Paul tells Avery, “Joe did not rape you.” Avery says, “Yes he did.” Paul says, “I have the evidence.” Dylan takes Avery in his arms.
Gabriel and Chelsea are having a drink and she gets up to go out of the room and he is there by himself and he toasts Victor, “How does it feel Victor having the son you despise beat you and take over your company. This is from Adam Newman.” Then you hear a crash, somebody dropped a glass, it is Chelsea. Adam looks at Chelsea and Chelsea looks at him and they both look shocked.
