‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers: Gwen Headed Back To GC & Bringing Sister Emma – Helping Neil With Hilary?

Good news “Young and the Restless” fans, it is less than a week before Gwen (Nadine Nicole) returns to Genoa City. And, this time she is bringing her sister, Emma (Alice Greczyn). Not much is known about either reoccurring roles other than they are sisters. Gwen was last seen on the show after she kissed Neil- after learning that Devon was not interested in continuing the façade of a relationship. The question remains, why would Gwen return to Genoa City?

There hasn’t been any mention of Gwen in months. Suddenly on today’s episode, Neil received a call from her. He asked her if they could make dinner plans next week- which is when she is scheduled to appear on the show. The timing of her entrance back into the storyline is strange. Where has Gwen been the past six months? If her sister works at the hospital, why wasn’t she introduced before?

Not only is Gwen coming back to Genoa City, but her sister, Emma will be brought into the storyline. Emma works at Genoa City Memorial Hospital and was said to have an interesting connection to someone in Genoa City. It is possible that Emma was helping Neil get the medicines and performing the medical care that Hilary needed while he has her in captivity.

There have been rumors for quite some time that Emma will have a connection to a Genoa City resident. Many took that to imply she may be a long-lost daughter of Victor Newman or possibly a long-lost sister to Chelsea or Sharon. There had been no solid evidence that Victor would have another child- but the rumors are persistent. It is possible she may not be a long-lost daughter, but she could just know a resident well. If she works in the medical field, she could have a history with Stitch (Sean Carrigan).

Fans of the show seemed to enjoy Gwen’s character. She was a bad girl, and yet she seemed like she would have been good for Devon. How will she react knowing that Devon and Hilary are married? Is she aware that Hilary is missing? Fans won’t have to wait much long, Nadine Nicole and Alice Greczyn will be on “Y&R” on Sept. 9.
