‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers Friday, September 4: Ian Ward and Adam In Cahoots Running Paragon – Sage Rushed To Hospital – Neil Saved Hilary

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday September 4, 2015 reveals that while the friends and family of Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) are gather at her memorial Adam (Justin Hartly) is up to no good.  In a shocking turn of events we learn that Ian Ward (Ray Wise) is behind the Paragon Project and Adam is working with him.

The Friday September 4, 2015 episode of “Y&R” opens with Jill (Jess Walton) and Esther (Kate Linder) preparing Chancellor Park for Katherine’s memorial. Paul (Doug Davidson) comes in and tells them he has a letter from Katherine to be read.

Cane (Daniel Goddard) is going to Virgin Gorda for Devon (Bryton James) and Devon thanks him. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) comes in she asks Devon if he has seen Neil. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) is a bit crazy and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) wants to know why she is so anxious to find Neil. (Kristoff St. John)

Reporters come in the Athletic Club and want to question Devon, Cane tries to throw them out but Devon wants to answer them.

Neil tells Hilary (Mishael Morgan) she is going to have a lot of questions when she wakes up. Neil tells her he is going to be right there to explain everything.

Nick does not want to go to the remembrance for Katherine because Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) is cranky. Sage (Kelly Sullivan) suggests Faith talk to the baby.

Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) tells Adam (Justin Hartley) she is taking Connor and not letting him come with her. Chelsea is worried if they get caught Adam will be fingerprinted and everyone will know who he is. Adam tells Chelsea they should stay in town and give Victor (Eric Braeden) exactly what he wants.

Jack comes to see Victor he wants to talk about the Paragon Project. Victor wants to know if Jack is there to admit his sins. Jack says he does not believe there is a Paragon Project but if there is he thinks he and Victor should work together in Katherine’s memory.

Kevin (Greg Rikaart) tells Mariah that Katherine would have liked her as they walk into Katherine’s memorial.

Devon is doing the interview with the reporters – he is hoping doing the interview will get the viewers to help him find Hilary.

Neil tells Hilary that she survived an unbelievable fall down the slope. He goes on and says, “One more minute and the undertow would have take you, you would have been fish food without me. I saved your life, I ran down the hill and I pulled you out. I gave you the breath of life. Strange thing is no one knows I saved you.” Neil’s phone beeps and he sees the interview on line with Devon.

Chelsea is shocked that Adam wants to give Victor visitation. Chelsea is sceptical she does not see how they will stop Victor getting his tentacles into Connor. Chelsea is worried she thinks Adam is acting too calm.

Victor asks Jack if he is in a position to make a deal now that he gave away Jabot to Ashley. Jack says he is in charge of protecting the Abbotts and Jack suggest they share information and work together. Victor agrees and gets a phone call. Victor says, “Who is this?” We see the back of a man and a computer.

Nikki tells Victoria that Victor is jealous of Neil and she thinks Victor has interfered in her friendship with Neil. Neil walks in to The Athletic Club and she asks Neil if Victor asked him not to see her. Neil tells her it is moot because he is not interested in her type of friendship. He leaves.

Neil comes over to Devon and Devon tells him Cane is going to Virgin Gorda for him.

Chelsea is not sure Adam can keep his cool around Victor if they stay.

Jack asks Victor who was on the phone. Victor tells him he does not know the person on the phone said nothing.

Adam hears Nikki and Victoria talking about Katherine’s memorial and how Victor will be going. Adam picks up his phone and text’s someone, “This is our chance!”

Faith is excited about the baby and Sage has fallen asleep. Nick goes to take Faith to bed and read her books.

Sage dreams about having her new son and Victor coming in and asking for her baby and taking him. Sage wakes up from her nightmare. She stands up and has a pain in her stomach and sits back down.

Adam comes in and tells Chelsea that someone made an offer on both the penthouses. Adam tells her he would like to keep their original penthouse because it has good memories. Chelsea asks Adam if he is really ready to live in Victor’s world again. Adam tells her it is their world not Victor’s world.

Victor walks into Chancellor Park and Nikki is there, Neil sees them and walks away. Kevin asks Esther if there is any news from Chloe she tells him Chloe is doing fine. The memorial starts and Paul tells them he has a letter and he is going to read it.

Paul starts to read the letter and Katherine writes she wants Jill Foster Fenmore Reynolds Chancellor Thurston Brooks Abbot Stirling Abbot Atkinson to read it. Everyone laughs. Katherine writes, sorry Jill if I missed a husband or two.

Jill laughs and starts to read the letter. Katherine wants them to speak on how they improved their lives since the last year. We get a lot of Katherine scenes. (Jeannie Cooper)

Sage gets to stand again and Nick asks what is wrong. She starts to have pain. Nick wants to go to the doctor.

Victor walks away from the Memorial and says he wants to remember Katherine in private. The rest of the attendees start talking about how their lives have changed.

Mariah gets a text she has to leave to babysit Faith there is an amergency.

While everyone is at the Memorial Adam comes into Victor’s office and gets on his computer. He calls someone and says, “Ya it is me, we have a limited amount of time while everyone is at the memorial. I am at Victor’s office and typing in his laptop I am at a firewall and putting the code in.” The person on the other end says, “It is go time! We are in.” They have remote control of Victor’s computer.

Meanwhile, Victor is walking into Newman Enterprises just before he opens his office door he has a call he is informed that Nicholas is driving Sage to the office. Victor turns around and leaves.

Adam is still working on Victor’s computer and there is a message – Paragon Project – Preparing for download… Adam looks at the screen and he is surprised.

Back at the memorial Paul is still speaking about Katherine and how she continues to influence their life. There is thunder and then the lights go out and everyone’s cell phone starts going haywire. Chelsea is in her apartment the lights go out and her cell phone goes out. Over with Mariah her phone goes out too. Kevin says maybe it was an electric magnetic signal. All of a sudden everyone cell phones comes back but the power is still off.

Kevin gets to Nick’s and tells Mariah he was concerned about it during the blackout and Mariah asks him to stay. Mariah makes a comment, “So much for our hot date.”

Sage is freaking and Nick tries to calm her down. Nick asks Sage what she is not telling him. She tells him right before she felt her first pain she had a nightmare they lost the baby. Not a miscarriage but Victor took their baby. Victor shows up at Sage’s room with Nikki behind him.

Esther thinks the wind and blackout was a message from Katherine that she is still there with them. Victoria thinks something is odd the only building with lights is Newman Enterprises.

Back with Adam he asks the man he is working with if he caused the power outage and he-man confirm he is. Adam tells him to hurry they don’t want to draw attention to what they are doing.

Adam tells the man to hurry with the download.

We see the man working and then someone comes in.

The man says, “He wants to finish it. Hello Boss.” It is IAN WARD and he says, “DO IT!.”

That is it “The Young and the Restless” fans!  Were you as shocked as I was that Ian Ward is behind the Paragon Project?  Did you suspect he and Adam were working together?  Does this mean Ian knows that Gabriel Bingham is Adam Newman?
