‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers Friday Oct 9: Adam Takes Victor’s Offer, Chelsea Leaving Town – Patty Warns Dylan About Drugs – Devon Pays Ransom

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday, October 9, tease that Adam (Justin Hartley) will come to an agreement with Victor (Eric Braeden) as Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) attempts to move on. Meanwhile, Patty (Stacy Haiduk) will try to give Dylan (Steve Burton) a warning about the drugs being used on Sharon (Sharon Case). Victor will also share a sweet moment with his grandson as Sage (Kelly Sullivan) continues to fear for Christian’s life.

At the police station, Victor wants to make a deal with Adam. Victor promises to arrange for Adam’s bail if he’ll stop the Paragon Project. Adam replies that it’s impossible. Besides, Adam doesn’t care about any of that anymore. Victor suggests that Adam is abandoning his son. Adam implies that Victor probably doesn’t care about Connor (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois) now since he’s got a new grandson to sink his claws into. Victor urges Adam to think about his proposal and tells Michael (Christian LeBlanc) to talk him into it. Adam wants Michael to help him get out of jail, even if it’s just for an hour.

At Jack (Peter Bergman) and Abby’s (Melissa Ordway) urging, Chelsea agrees to visit Adam. Adam owns up to his mistakes and asks to see Connor one last time. Chelsea insists that she needs Adam to be dead to her. That goes for Connor as well. Over at the hospital, Nick (Joshua Morrow) contends that Sage needs to take care of herself. Sage heads back to her room and Victor arrives in the NICU to see Christian. Victor gets teary as he tells Christian to fight like a Newman.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say Sharon’s doctor could be up to something. Sharon remarks that she can’t believe she slept so long. Dr. Anderson (Elizabeth Bogush) hints that it’s due to Sharon’s pregnancy. Patty eavesdrops on their conversation from nearby. Dylan shows up hoping to take Sharon home, but he understands when she says she needs to stay. Dylan adds that he’s glad Sharon is improving. As Dylan exits, Patty (Stacy Haiduk) warns him about the high doses of medication Sharon is getting. The drugs are hardcore and they might be bad for the baby. Dylan brushes off Patty’s fears and insists that the doctor knows what she’s doing. Patty takes the issue up with Sharon and says she should stop taking the drugs. Sharon assures Patty that everything will be fine.

Nick sees Dr. Anderson at the hospital and she says she’s checking on Sage. Sharon needs peace of mind on the situation. Later, Dr. Anderson watches Nick and Sage hugging from a distance. Y&R rumors indicate that something fishy is going on with this shady doc. Meanwhile, Abby apologizes to Stitch (Sean Carrigan) about her recent obsession with work. They make plans to get coffee.

At the athletic club, Devon (Bryton James) decides to pay the ransom in hopes of getting Hilary (Mishael Morgan) back. Dylan says he’ll take the money to the park and Devon begs him to bring his wife home. Dylan takes the briefcase full of cash and hides it in the bushes. When someone appears to grab it, Dylan tries to catch him. Unfortunately, he gets away. Devon flies off the handle when he realizes Dylan couldn’t stop the guy. At the lake house, Gwen (Nadine Nicole) hears a noise and is frightened by Neil (Kristoff St. John) when he returns. Neil thinks the person who got the ransom might be lurking outside.

Jack and Victor argue about Chelsea’s fashion line as well as the mess with Adam. Victor declares that he doesn’t feel bad about what he did to Jack now. Jack kept Adam’s secret and the threat to Victor’s company remains. Michael asks Jack to vouch for Adam, but Jack refuses because of his loyalty to Billy (Burgess Jenkins).

Later, Adam calls Victor to give him the news that he’s accepted his offer. Adam will take care of the Paragon Project as long as he can see Connor once more. Across town, Chelsea prepares to sneak out of Genoa City with Connor. It sounds like Chelsea is ready to bolt, but Adam will soon be on his way to stop her.
