‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday December 4: Billy Arrested, Victoria Threatens to Take Kids – Sage Leans On Adam, Chelsea Not Happy – Ashley Plots

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday, December 4, tease that Ashley (Eileen Davidson) will be desperate to get to the bottom of Adam’s (Justin Hartley) secret. Across town, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will get fed up with Billy (Burgess Jenkins) when he can’t seem to get a grip. Elsewhere, Sage (Kelly Sullivan) will continue to push Nick (Joshua Morrow) away and grow closer to Adam.
At Jabot, Ashley tries to persuade Adam that helping Victor (Eric Braeden) won’t end well. Ashley says she’ll help Adam deal with the dirt Victor has on him if he becomes her ally. Adam insists that Victor helped him get out of prison and he has to pay him back. Adam tells Ashley there’s no secret and she says to call him once he’s willing to be honest.
At the church, Victor (Eric Braeden) and Billy bicker. Billy claims that Adam won’t stop until he destroys Victor, which is an idea he can relate to. Meanwhile, Sage is in a trance holding the baby at the altar. Nick snaps her out of it and Sage hands Sully back to Sharon (Sharon Case). Sage gets emotional and rushes out. Paul (Doug Davidson) shows up and everyone enjoys a sweet christening ceremony.
In his suite, Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva) pulls away from Marisa (Sofia Pernas). If Marisa is doing this just to get info on her daughter’s location, Luca doesn’t want it that way. Luca is hoping to be a real family again. Marisa mentions that they were very young when they got married and she doesn’t feel the same about him now. Luca tells Marisa he’ll make the arrangements and they’ll go to their daughter.
Later, Marisa tells Noah (Robert Adamson) that Luca is taking her to see Ava. Noah demands to know if Marisa slept with Luca. They fight until Luca interrupts. He’s got their luggage ready. Marisa and Luca head out. Noah talks to Victor about the deal he has with Luca. Victor insists that it was solely Marisa’s decision to leave.
Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers indicate that Billy is about to find himself in big trouble. Victor sees Billy getting drunk at the bar. Ashley arrives and asks when Billy is going to grow up. Billy replies that Ashley can join him or leave. Ashley tells the bartender that Billy has had enough and requests that a cab be called. Ashley exits and Victor keeps watching. Billy tells the bartender not to bother as he grabs his keys.

Paul gets a message and gives Victoria updates on an accident involving Billy. They head to the police station, where Billy is in handcuffs. Victoria rips into Billy for trying to drive while drunk. Billy snaps that he hit a post, not a girl. Victoria brings up the Paragon virus and the people that could’ve gotten hurt. Billy rants about justice for Delia (Sophie Pollono), but Victoria says he shouldn’t hide behind his daughter’s death.
Victoria declares that she can’t let her children be around Billy’s self-destructive behavior. Billy shouts that he won’t let Victoria take his kids away from him. Back at Jabot, Ashley tells Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Stitch (Sean Carrigan) about Billy being arrested. They discuss Billy bringing back Paragon as well. Abby thinks this is the same old Newman versus Abbott rivalry. On top of that, there’s now some fighting within the families.
Ashley says that Victor has something on Adam and she’s hoping Abby can find out what it is. Stitch argues with Ashley about her strategy. Abby notices the tension and decides not to help her mom. At Crimson Lights, Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) gripes because Nick left the christening to look for Sage. Sharon tries to lift Faith’s mood.
At the park, Nick admits that it was too soon for Sage to go to something like the christening. Sage wishes she hadn’t and feels like she made a fool of herself. Sage gets upset over the fact that she never got to hold her son. Nick tries to reach out again, but Sage lets him know that she needs to work through this alone. After Nick leaves, Adam arrives and wants to help Sage.
Nick talks to a minister about the way Sage keeps shutting him out. The minster offers reassurance. Sage heads back to the penthouse with Adam. At Adam’s urging, Sage agrees to have dinner with them and sleep in the guestroom. Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) gives Adam a quick glare and tells Sage she’s welcome to stay.

Chelsea leaves to prepare Sage’s room. When Chelsea returns, Adam is holding Sage as she cries. Y&R rumors hint that Adam’s connection with Sage could mean bad news for his relationship with Chelsea. Stick with the CBS soap to see where all this comforting might lead.

These writers really pushing Sage character. First Nick now Adam. Feels like they are trying to make her the new Sharon. Sharon’s character is battered constantly and Sage is the sickening sweet whiner. I hope Dage is written out. I he had enough of this character being shoved to the forefront of the rest of the veteran cast. Where is Jill? Lauren? Sharon? Not liking what I am seeing at all
