‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Chelsea Learns Gabriel Is Really Adam on July 13, Keeps Quiet to Protect Her Husband

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that after months of anticipation, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will finally learn Gabriel’s (Justin Hartley) true identity. Chelsea will soon find out she’s been dating her presumed-dead husband, Adam. Talk about a shocker! Y&R’s been dancing around the subject for what seems like forever and Gabriel’s even had a couple of close calls. With all the slight slipups, we knew it was just a matter of time before the truth came out. The big day is arriving on Monday, July 13. Mark it on your calendar right now. Go ahead. We’ll wait.

This can’t-miss episode is going to be epic. Adam will feel like he’s on top of the world after blackmailing Victor (Eric Braeden) and gaining the upper hand. Now Adam is getting everything he ever wanted, including control of his father’s company as well as a life with Chelsea and Connor (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois). Unfortunately, it looks like pride will be Adam’s downfall. As Adam revels in his success, he’ll practically spill the whole story while Chelsea eavesdrops nearby. After pulling off this charade for so long, who’d have thought Adam’s secret would be discovered because of a chat with Victor’s portrait? Alas, that’s just the way the cookie crumbles on “The Young and the Restless.”

Luckily, this could turn out to be a blessing in disguise for Adam. Naturally, Chelsea will be confused, shocked and hurt—in that order. However, Chelsea will start to realize that it might be a good idea for Adam to keep the lie going. This is Adam’s chance at a brand-new life as Gabriel and Chelsea won’t want to blow it for him. Besides, Chelsea will undoubtedly be so happy to have the love of her life back that she won’t care what he calls himself. Exposing the truth would just open up a can of worms that they’d both rather keep contained.

Of course, the other residents of Genoa City are bound to get updates eventually. Y&R rumors hint that Jack (Peter Bergman) may play a role in spreading the news. Nevertheless, Chelsea and Adam will conceal their deep, dark secret for now. It should be fun having the extra layer in this storyline. Stick with “The Young and the Restless” to watch Chelsea and Adam try to keep everything quiet.
