‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday December 23: Marisa and Luca Make Out – Someone Spying On Neville and Ashley – Victor Blasts Noah, Tricks Luca

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, December 23, tease that we’ll see some mixed feelings as Christmas approaches. At Newman Enterprises, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) finish decorating a room for the Christmas party. Nikki says they can get along without Victor (Eric Braeden) if he decides to be a “Scrooge.” Victoria hints that Nikki secretly wants Victor to come. Nikki tells Victoria that she can invite Billy (Burgess Jenkins) to their bash if she’d like.

Victoria wants her kids to see their dad as a hero, but she’s concerned about Billy showing up drunk. Victoria sighs that she wishes she could have an old-fashioned Christmas just like in all those sappy commercials. Nikki chuckles that “The Grinch” reminds her of Victor. After Victoria rushes off to get something, Nikki admires the tree and thinks back on fond memories with Victor. Nikki remembers Victor promising to spend every Christmas with her.

Meanwhile, Jill (Jess Walton) can’t find Billy and is concerned about what he’s up to. Colin (Tristan Rogers) laughs and says Billy is right behind her. Jill notices that Billy is drinking, but he says it’s just water. Jill tastes it and confirms that it is. Billy tells Jill about his chat with Jack (Peter Bergman) and how he now realizes that his life is worth living.

Billy says he owes it to Delia (Sophie Pollono) to straighten up and refuse to succumb to his demons. Jill brings up Jabot and Billy thinks he needs to work on himself before trying to deal with work drama. Jill urges Billy to talk to Victoria because he’ll never be out of her heart.

Back at Newman Enterprises, Victor tells Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva) and Marisa (Sofia Pernas) to go home for the holidays. Luca doesn’t like Victor ordering him out and he reminds him of their deal. Victor gets irate about how Nikki called him a “Scrooge” and how Luca is accusing him of backing out of their agreement. Noah (Robert Adamson) comes in and announces that it was his idea to let them have the night off. Luca thanks them and heads out. Victor is pleased at the way Noah made Luca underestimate him.

While Noah is with Victor, Marisa and Luca look at a Christmas picture of Ava on a cell phone. Noah walks outside and wonders what they’re doing. Luca tells Noah they’re looking at a pic of their daughter and Noah thinks it’s sweet. Luca tries to force Noah to take a peek as well, but the phone drops. Luca thinks Noah did it on purpose.

Noah tries to apologize, but Luca continues to rant. Victor comes in and says, “You are no longer welcome at Newman Enterprises!” Luca starts to protest, but Victor says he’s not talking about Luca or the Santori family. He’s talking about his grandson. Noah looks shocked and asks if he’s being fired. Marisa and Luca defend Noah. Victor agrees to give Noah a pass this time.

Later, Noah questions Victor and he replies that he was trying to make Luca think Noah is the weak link of the organization. Victor wants to work, but Noah says they should head to the party. Victor tells Noah to go, but he’s going to stay behind.

Marisa thanks Luca for standing up for Noah, but he claims he did it for her. Though Marisa isn’t with Noah anymore, Luca knows she still cares about him. Marisa invites Luca into her suite, but he doesn’t want to push her. Marisa pulls Luca close and they kiss passionately.

Elsewhere, Dr. Neville (Michael E. Knight) notices that Ashley (Eileen Davidson) doesn’t look well and he questions her about it. Ashley claims she’s got a headache because Dr. Neville was bickering with Gwen (Nadine Nicole) over the budget. Ashley asks Dr. Neville if he used his methods on anyone before Hilary (Mishael Morgan). Dr. Neville gives a vague answer. It seems his research was mostly hypothetical up until that point.

Ashley asks if Dr. Neville can repair brains. The doc admits it could’ve been a fluke, but he’s hopeful. Dr. Neville says they can go, but Ashley wants to work through the night. They eventually bond over a drink at Jabot as someone watches nearby.

Meanwhile, Cane (Daniel Goddard) suggests that he should stay overnight. He can use the guest room. Lily (Christel Khalil) agrees that would be nice for the kids on Christmas morning. Cane meets up with Colin later and gives him updates on his sleepover plans.

Colin wonders why he doesn’t just stay longer, but Cane can’t forget what happened. Colin says he won’t push divorce, but he supports it if that’s what’s best. Colin sees Jill and comments on all the failing marriages. He asks who would’ve thought theirs would last. Jill says, “Me.” They enjoy a toast together.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say Neil (Kristoff St. John) and Hilary will have chat about her motives. When Neil asks if Hilary is doing this to keep him out of jail, she’ll say yes. However, it’s more than that. Hilary wants to help other people, too. Hilary voices her concern about Gwen. She thinks Gwen wants Neil back, but he brushes off the idea.

Neil leaves to spend Christmas Eve with Lily and the kids. He tells Hilary he hopes Santa brings her everything she asked for. Hilary wishes the same for Neil. Elsewhere, Lily urges Devon (Bryton James) to ditch his plans to go to Miami for the holidays. Devon gets the news that his plane can’t take off because of the weather and he finds Hilary sitting alone.

Back at the Christmas party, Noah says Victor wouldn’t come. Nikki thinks that just means more goodies for everyone else. Jill tries to convince Victoria that Billy is filled with regret. She knows they love each other. Victoria suggests that sometimes love isn’t enough. In Victor’s office, Billy asks where Victoria is. Victor refuses to say and tosses around some insults.

Billy points out that Victor is still in his office on Christmas Eve. Victor is just as sad and lonely as Billy is. Y&R rumors hint that Victor might decide to join his family for a merry Christmas after all. Stick with the CBS soap to see if Victor will do his part to make the season bright.
