‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday October 13: Chloe Pulls Gun on Adam, Chelsea Intervenes – Kevin Wonders What Chloe’s Hiding – Devon Gets Desperate

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday, October 13, tease that Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will pull a gun on Adam (Justin Hartley) as she seeks vengeance. After Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) talks her down, Kevin (Greg Rikaart) has a chat with Chloe and wonder it she has a secret. Meanwhile, another ransom note will cause more trouble. Devon (Bryton James) will take desperate action to get Hilary (Mishael Morgan) back.

At the park, Billy (Burgess Jenkins) demands that Adam leave immediately. Jack (Peter Bergman) suggests they hear Adam out. It’s what Delia (Sophie Pollono) would want. Adam apologizes to Billy and says he’d gladly trade places with Delia if he could. They all hear some clapping and turn to see Chloe, who’s not impressed with Adam’s performance.

Chloe declares that she came back to get justice and she points a gun at Adam. Chelsea leaps in front of Adam and begs Chloe to reconsider. Delia obviously wouldn’t approve. Chloe falls into Chelsea’s arms and cries as Victor (Eric Braeden) grabs the gun.

After the event breaks up, Adam asks Chelsea if she’s willing to start over. Chelsea insists that she only intervened for Chloe and Delia’s sake. Chelsea adds that she can’t forgive Adam and she hopes he ends up in jail. Adam replies that he wants Connor (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois) to know this wasn’t his decision. Chelsea leaves and Victor walks over to get what’s coming to him. Victor pulled some strings and paid a hefty price to get Adam out on bail. Now Adam needs to return the favor. Victor says Adam will stop the Paragon Project or else he’ll find himself back in the slammer.

In a suite, Kevin talks to Chloe about Adam. Chloe says she’s angry that Adam is still out on the streets, but she now realizes he’s not worth losing the most important thing in her life. Kevin wonders what she means. Chloe mutters that it’s her freedom, but Kevin seems to think she’s hiding something. When Kevin gives Summer (Hunter King) and Kyle (Lachlan Buchanan) updates on what Chloe said, Kyle figures Kevin might be jealous of Chloe moving on. Elsewhere, Billy hints to Victoria (Amelia Heinle) that Chloe might be able to cope if she had another kid.

Later, Billy overhears Chloe on the phone as she’s leaving her suite. When Chloe asks someone to keep “her” a few more days, Billy questions who she is. Meanwhile, Jill (Jess Walton) confronts Jack about keeping Adam’s secret. Jack claims he was trying to protect Billy. Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) ends the argument and takes Jack aside to voice her concerns. When Jack tries to stop the people he loves from making mistakes, he acts just like Victor.

At the lake house, Neil (Kristoff St. John) cleans up fingerprints and tries to remove all traces of Gwen (Nadine Nicole) being there. Gwen says she wants to help, but Neil won’t allow it. The ransom note could mean that someone knows Hilary’s whereabouts. Neil maintains that he doesn’t want Gwen to be an accessory and he’s ending this now. Neil adds that Gwen should go before Devon and the cops arrive.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers indicate that another note is about to shake things up. Lily (Christel Khalil) and Cane (Daniel Goddard) discuss whether or not the kidnapper will provide Hilary’s location. Cane is still upset that Dylan (Steve Burton) blew it when he handed over the cash. Suddenly, the next note arrives and Cane opens it up. At Crimson Lights, Paul (Doug Davidson) suspects that Devon and Dylan aren’t telling him everything. Dylan gets a call from Cane and tells Paul to trust him as he dashes off.

Dylan and Devon check in with Cane for news on the note. Devon finally grabs it and says he’s taking matters into his own hands. After calling the number listed, the man on the other end states that it’s too late. Devon pleads with the man to reunite him with his wife. A little later, Paul arrives with questions for Cane and Lily. Gwen eavesdrops on their answers. Back at the lake house, Devon and Dylan show up. As Devon turns the doorknob, Neil remains inside. Y&R rumors hint that this may not be the end of the road for Neil just yet. Stick with the CBS soap to see if Neil will manage to get out of this mess.
