“The Young and the Restless” star, Steven Burton [Dylan] posted to social media on Monday bringing the news that this week will be action packed on the CBS soap Opera. Burton noted it was time for him to enjoy down time—it’s vacation time.
“Y&R” is knee-deep in a complex storyline involving Dylan and Sharon [Sharon Case] and their new baby, Sully. Dr. Anderson [Elizabeth Bogush] kidnapped Sage’s [Kelly Sullivan] son and for unknown reasons, she gave the child to Sharon and Dylan and convinced Nick [Joshua Morrow], and Sage their son passed away.

Head Scribe, Chuck Pratt revealed to CBS Soaps in Depth reported that it was only a matter of time before it starts coming to light that Sully doesn’t share Sharon’s DNA. It will start unraveling over the first part of the year, leading up to the bombshell being revealed that Sharon’s child is none other than Christian Newman.
There’s a hint of gossip on the Internet that Dylan will be thrown into a big mystery revolving around Dr. Anderson. Is it possible that Mariah [Camryn Grimes] brings up her concerns about the shady doc to Dylan, and he decides to investigate Sharon’s birth? If he does start to look at the birth of his son, what might he find out?
Is it possible the show will give Sharon and Dylan a happily ever after—at least for a few months? It seems extremely unlikely since the new writing regime is hell-bent on Sharon remaining miserable and unhappy.

It is unfortunate the writers felt it was necessary to make Dylan suffer yet another loss. How many children can he lose before he decides to stop hoping to be a father? What ‘good stuff’ do you think is headed the way for “The Young and the Restless” fans this week?
