Adam is having trouble stopping the Paragon virus and Victor is not happy about it. They once again argue about the past. Victor brings up Connor (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois) and hints that he wants Adam to have a good relationship with his son. Adam loves his family and Victor believes that can help them relate one day. Victor suggests that Adam might want to think about leaving town. The trial is coming up and Adam’s chances don’t look good. He could spend years in prison. Adam doesn’t think he needs his father’s help, but Victor says Adam should let him know if he wants to run.
At Crimson Lights, Lily (Christel Khalil) shows Dylan (Steve Burton) the bag of money she found in the closet at home. Dylan says they shouldn’t jump to conclusions. This may not be proof that Cane had anything to do with Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) disappearance or the ransom note. Dylan asks why Lily came to him instead of asking Cane about it directly. They mull it over and Dylan says Lily can’t tell Cane about this. They should take the money to Paul (Doug Davidson) and let him handle it. Lily gets a phone call from Cane wondering where she is and when she’s coming back.

Dylan arrives at the police station with the money and spills the story to Paul. Devon’s (Bryton James) there as well and he’s absolutely stunned. Paul and Dylan head over to question Cane, but they convince Devon to stay behind. Kevin appears and they tell each other what Cane’s been up to. They try to wrap their heads around this mess.
Lauren goes to see Cane about the deal that knocked Fenmore’s out of millions. Lily listens as Cane defends himself. Cane denies any wrongdoing and declares that he’s the one who took a pay cut. Cane even took time off to keep them from losing money. Lily wonders why she wasn’t kept in the loop. Paul and Dylan show up. They want to know about the loot in the bag. Cane claims he doesn’t know anything about it and refuses to go to the police station. Paul feels he has no choice but to arrest Cane. Later, Cane is charged with extortion.
Noah protests at Marisa’s plans to go off and live with Luca for a month. Noah figures it’s all a lie and Luca doesn’t even know where Marisa’s daughter is. Luca shows up to say he knows the girl’s location and he’s anxious to be reunited with his wife. Noah makes Marisa step out and he rips into Luca. Luca says Noah should get over Marisa and hints that they’re going to have wedded bliss now.
Downstairs, Marisa sees Noah at the bar and they get into an argument over everything that’s happened. Meanwhile, Victor calls up Luca and demands that he get Marisa out of Genoa City immediately. Y&R rumors hint that Victor could regret his actions, but he probably won’t pay the price. Victor always seems to get away with his dirty deeds. Stick with the CBS soap to see where the situation with Marisa will lead.
