‘The Young and The Restless’ Spoilers Monday, August 17: Marco Sets Trap For Jack, Kills Harding – Devon and Hilary Marry, Dylan Becomes a Cop

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Monday August 17, 2015 reveal that Marco has set his plan in motion.  Marco sets up a trap for Jack and sets up Victor as the fall guy.  However, the plot fails and Marco ends up killing Harding.  Meanwhile, Kevin and the Scooby Doo gang are becoming suspicious of how often Jack seems to be in two places at one time.  Despite Neil interrupting the wedding Hilary and Devon marry.

The Monday August 17, 2015 episode of “Y&R” opens with Devon and Hilary (Mishael Morgan) getting married and the minister calling if anyone has an objection. Neil (Kristoff St.John)walks in and says, “I do there is something I need the bride to know!”

The Scooby Doo gang are at Crimson Lights everyone is hoping Kevin (Greg Rikaart) does nothing to put them at risk. Mariah (Camryn Grimes) tells them off she does not think Summer (Hunter King) hearing a ring tone does not mean it was Harding (Chris McKenna). Summer thinks she is blocking it out.

Harding calls someone and tells them to put security on Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman)and his wife. Kevin comes in the door and Harding says, “Fish what are you doing here?” Kevin tells him he was going to ask the same thing.

Noah (Robert Adamson) and Marisa (Sophia Pernas) are in Chancellor Park and Marisa tells him he is a great guy and she kisses him and Marco(Peter Bergman) walks by and he says it is nice to see Marisa and him enjoying the summer. Noah asks him how he knows it was Marisa.

Kyle(Lachlan Buchanan) tells Summer she does not have to talk about the night Austin(Matthew Atkinson) died. Summer tells the gang she reacted when she heard Harding’s ring tone so he may be on to her. Summer says if Harding feels he is back in a corner he may get careless.

Kevin asks Harding what he is doing at the cabin. Harding tells him his job and he wanted to take a fresh look. Kevin keeps asking questions and Harding tells Kevin maybe he can help he wants Kevin to walk him through the night. Kevin starts telling him and he tells him what order they woke up. Kevin says Summer woke up last right over there. Harding says I thought Summer was over near the door and Kevin asks how he knows?

Marco pretending to be Jack tells Noah Marisa came to visit him in the hospital. Jack put his hand out to shake Marisa’s hand Marisa has a strange look on her face she got a chill. Marco leaves and Marisa looks upset.

Neil walks into the wedding. Devon says, “You don’t want to do this.” Neil tells him he is already doing it. He tells them he does not want to stop their wedding he has made peace with it. Neil says he came to the wedding to tell them from the bottom of his heart how he feels about them. Neil tells both of them how fabulous they are and he wishes them both love and forgives them and wishes them a lifetime of happiness.

Devon puts his hand out and Neil moves in and hugs him. Devon thanks Neil. Colin looks on shocked. The wedding continues and they are married.

Kevin wants to know how he knew where Summer was and Harding tells him police work. Harding gets a call and Kevin realizes that Harding is using someone else to trace phones. Kevin asks why he is having Jack and Phyllis followed is it because of Marco. Harding tells him to stay out of his case.

Neil tells Colin it was an amazing entrance. Neil tells Colin to delete the video but Colin says the money is going to his retirement fund. Neil blackmails Colin and tells him he will tell Jill. Colin takes the video out to delete.

Paul (Doug Davidson) and Dylan (Steve Burton) talks and Dylan tells Paul he talked to Harding and he did not get anything but Harding knows he has no authority because he is not a cop. Paul tells him he could be if he wanted to be.

Mariah calls Kevin and leaves a message and tells him to call her. Noah tells the Scooby Doo gang he thinks they should leave the case to the cops. Noah tells Summer that they run into Jack in the park. Summer is surprised because her mother told her Jack and her were at the wedding. Marisa looks upset.

Over with Marco he is in Victor’s (Eric Braeden)office with a gun. He picks up the gun, takes of the safety and points it.

Everyone is congratulating Hilary and Devon. Devon goes to see Neil and tells him how much the speech meant to him. Neil tells Devon even when he was hurt and angry he never stopped being his son. Neil tells him he loves him.

Cane (Daniel Goddard) tells his children they were amazing and they got them a room where they can watch movies. The kids ask if Cane and Lily (Cristel Khalil) are coming home together. Lily promises to answer later.

Paul tells Dylan he did not mean to put him on the spot but he thought because Dylan agreed to help him with Harding…. Paul tells him he could use someone he could trust. Sharon (Sharon Case) comes up and says, “Dylan are you talking about the case even though you are not a cop?” Dylan says, “Not yet.”

Kevin comes into Crimson Lights and he tells everyone he has been working his ass on off on Harding. He tells them he followed Harding to the cabin and he heard him put protection on Jack and Phyllis.

Jack and Phyllis are talking about their wedding and Jack is pissed because of what Victor put them through. Phyllis promises him they will have the life they want. Hilary comes over to Jack and thanks him for helping her redeem herself. Jack gets a text from a number he does not recognize. It is Victor and he sent the text from a burner phone Jack thinks he is getting paranoid. Victor wants him in his office ASAP! Phyllis is pissed because they are at the wedding. Jack thinks he should go.

Meanwhile, Marco gets a text and it is from Jack saying, “Be there soon.” It was Marco who sent the text to Jack and not Victor.

Lily tells Devon she is glad he did not tell Hilary about the hooker. Meanwhile, Colin goes to congratulate Hilary. Colin is about to tell her about surprises and Cane interrupts to congratulate her. Colin leaves. Hilary tells Colin she has always admired Cane and Lily because true love only comes once in a lifetime. Cane hugs her.

Esther(Kate Linder) is crying because she is thinking about Katherine(Jeanne Cooper). Lauren(Tracy E. Bregman) tells Esther wherever she is she is sending much love. Michael(Christian LeBlanc) tells Lauren that Katherine is smiling down at them living her mantra, “I am going to live till I die!” Michael says he wishes he had done that. Lauren tells him, “What you do with today is what counts.” Michael kisses her.

Sharon asks Dylan if he is considering joining the police force. Dylan avoids the topic and offers to take her home he promises to talk about it later. Sharon leaves to say goodbye to Devon and Hilary. Dylan promises Paul to think about it.

Kyle tells everyone Jack is a legitimate businessman and would not be involved with Marco. Kyle implies Victor would be they start bickering. Kevin tells them they cannot fight amongst themselves. Noah asks Marisa if she ever heard Marco mention Jack’s name.

Phyllis has tagged along with Jack to meet Victor (Marco). Jack tells Phyllis that he never stopped loving her when he was being held captive. They decide to meet Victor together. Meanwhile, in Victor’s office Marco is getting his gun ready. Just as Jack goes to open the door an officer tells him to stop. The officer tells Jack to leave the office immediately. Harding walks in and tells Jack they got an anonymous tip that there is a dangerous criminal in the building with a gun and the security cameras have been deactivated. Phyllis says, “He is here, it is Marco.”

Marisa tells the gang Marco never mentioned Jack’s name. Marisa tells them she has been jumpy. Kevin is a bit confused he tells the gang it is odd Marisa says you saw Jack in the park but he is at the wedding. This is not the first time Jack has showed up where he is not suppose to be. Marisa looks upset.

Jack tells Harding if Marco is in Victor’s office he IS GOING in. Harding tells Jack he does not know who is in the office but the person has a gun so Jack has to let him do his job. Harding tells the officer to take Jack and Phyllis out of the building. Harding opens the door to Victor’s office and goes in. Marco has a gun and asks, “Where is Abbott, why did you send him away you need him dead as much as I do.” Harding asks, “What are you going to do get rid of his wife too.” Marco says, “I would like Phyllis as a wife too but you know what now that she knows about me maybe she is more of a liability than a perk.” Harding asks, “What are you going to do with Abbott’s body I did you a huge favour Fisher knows we have a connection and Paul has his son on my back. I need you to back off.” Marco says, “Maybe you are right I need to handle this different but I am not playing by your game. I have an idea of my own.”

Dylan brings Sharon camomile tea so she can relax. Sharon asks Dylan if he is going to stress her out saying he is going to join the police force. Dylan says, “it has always been in the back of my mind, maybe it is my destiny.” He feels it is time to move on he wants to do something that matters. Dylan tells her he know he has to do what is best for all of them. Sharon says, “You have to do what your head and heart tell you and I can tell how passionate you are about it. I won’t stand in the way of your dreams.” Dylan tells her it is!  Sharon tells him to call Paul.

Lily tells Neil she is proud of him. Neil tells her it had to be said and it was not easy but it was worth it. Lily tells him forgiveness is healing.

Lily asks Cane if Neil can forgive Devon and Hilary maybe you can forgive me Lily tells Cane if he needs time she can wait.

Neil watches Hilary and Devon kissing and Colin comes over and says, “You are a better man than I am Neil.” Neil says no one will argue with that. Colin tells him if my son did what your son did I would want revenge and I would not stop till I got it.

Lauren gets a text it is the car service wanting to pick her up. Michael offers her a lift and she says yes.
Hilary and Devon are off for their honeymoon.

Sharon asks Dylan how long she has wanted to be a cop and he tells her since a little boy. She tells him he is going to be a sexy cop.

Phyllis and Jack wants to know if he thinks Victor was trying to draw them into a trap. Jack says, “Detective Harding said there was a criminal in the building.” Phyllis says, “Someone called it in and the police would think they were looking for the person in the sketch Marisa drew.” Jack says, “Unless the person who called it in really knew Marco.” Phyllis says, “Victor or Marisa.” Jack replies, “Besides us they are the only two people who know Marco is a dead ringer for me.”

Mariah does not get what the big deal is Jack was walking in the park. Kevin says these is something wrong because Jack is being seen in too many places? Kevin says there are too many pieces of the puzzle that don’t fit and he is going to look at the security footage again.

Harding asks Marco what his brilliant plan is? Marco says, “I could tell you but maybe it is better I show you.” Marco lifts his arm, points his gun and shoots Harding.
