‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers July 9: Jack Confirms Victor Shot Him – Fears Adam Working With Marco, Kyle Threatens Abby

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday July 9, 2015 reveal that Jack is starting to come out of his coma.  Unbeknownst to everyone Jack is able to communicate with Phyllis by squeezing her hand and confirms to her that Victor shot him.  Meanwhile, Victoria, Billy and Nick are trying to make Gabriel over confident so they can catch him unaware.

The Thursday July 9, 2015 episode of “Y&R” opens with Gabriel [Justin Hartley] speaking to Nick [Joshua Morrow] and Gabriel says, “This is the first time we have clashed over business.”

At the Athletic Club Chelsea [Melissa Claire Egan] and Abby [Melissa Ordway] are speaking. Chelsea tells Abby, “You did such a good job. You sealed the deal with the client.” Kyle [Lachlan Buchanan] comes in and says, “This looks like fun why don’t you raise a glass to Victor [Eric Braeden] while you are at it. Toast him for getting Jack [Peter Bergman] out of the way. So we can now all raise up through the ranks because Jack is gone.” Abby says, “I would never do that!” Kyle responds, “Abby you do not need to explain what side of the family is more important to you.”

Gabriel says to Nick, “If you are going to be belligerent to me I don’t mind hearing what you have to say.” While the two are speaking Victoria [Amelia Heinle] is eavesdropping at the door and Billy [Burgess Jenkins] catches her. Victoria says to Billy, “Don’t sneak up on me like that.” Billy says, “You are lucky it is me who caught you and not someone else.”

Summer [Hunter King] goes to The Underground to visit Noah [Robert Adamson] and tells him she just wanted to be with a family member. Noah says, “I am not pleased with all the family drama so I am staying away from it!” Summer tells Noah, “Today is my first anniversary. It was one year ago today I married Austin[ Matthew Atkinson] .”

Phyllis [Gina Tognoni] says to Jack, “If you can hear me say something.” In his coma he says, “I can her you Red!” and then his hands start to twitch.

Stitch [Sean Carrigan] and Ashley [Eileen Davidson] are talking at the hospital and he tells her he is glad she came to get the MRI. Ashley, “I told you I would come in for my MRI. I know the test is going to say I was dizzy because I am fragile and stressed and how can I not be stressed with how Jack is?”

Over with Phyllis and Jack she can feel Jack squeezing her hand. She tells Jack if he can do it squeeze her hand again and he does.

Summer and Noah are still talking and Noah says, “Austin was dishonest you have to stop thinking about him,” Meanwhile Marisa [Sophia Pernas] is eavesdropping on their conversation. Noah goes on and tells Summer to stop living in the past. Noah then says, “I think Austin’s death is connected to Jack’s shooting.” Summer says, “That is Kevin’s [Gregg Rikaart] idea, sometimes I think there is something wrong with Kevin!” Noah asks her, “What if Kevin is right and he is on to something?” Summer says, “Grandpa would never kill the people he loves.”

Phyllis is speaking to Jack’s doctor and tells him Jack squeezed her hand. The Doctor says, “Sometimes coma patients do that, it is not uncommon. They sometimes even blink their eyes. It does not mean they are waking up.” Phyllis tells him she is an expert on coma patients and Jack was definitely responding. Phyllis asks Jack to squeeze her hand again to show the doctor. Jack does not!

Kyle says to Abby, “How could you betray my dad so cold like that.” Abby asks, “What did I do so bad?” Kyle says, “You helped Gabriel take everything away from Jack.” Abby tells him she did nothing wrong. Abby tells him, “You are looking at this from the worse possible way.” Kyle does not understand what other way there is to look. Abby tells him, “Gabriel is doing this for Jack.” Kyle says, “I am not surprised you are backing him up.” Then Kyle says to Chelsea, “You are sleeping with Gabriel it is nice how this all turned out for you isn’t it. You screwed over Billy and still ended up with an Abbott! Although Gabriel does not deserve the name Abbott.” Abby screams at Kyle she tells him, “Shut up you are out of line!” Kyle says, “You are going to regret siding with that lying Bastard.”

Nick says to Gabriel, “I did not come back to this company so I could be a buffer for you and the rest of the employees.” Nick tells Gabriel he is going to take over Neil’s [Kristoff St. John] job and Gabriel says, “I can understand you don’t have many options but we don’t need a bouncer in the office.” Nick says, “I am gong to take over Neil’s job and I am going to stay at it till Victor beats the charges and takes the company back. You keep assuming there is going to be a place here for you when Victor gets released.”

Abby offers Victoria a job and Gabriel tells her more or less if she is not interested she can leave. Victoria says to Gabriel, “Stop trying to bait me.”

Ashley is getting her MRI and Stitch hears from the Medical Board and he is allowed to practice medicine again.

Billy, Victoria and Nick are pretending they cannot stand each other to Gabriel because they want Gabriel to get over confident. The trio believe if he gets to comfortable they can push him out.

Phyllis keeps talking to Jack she wants to know what is going on in his mind. After the doctor leaves she says squeeze my hand and he does – She says, “Squeeze it once if you only want me to know what you are saying.” Jack squeezes her hand once.

Abby is all excited because she got the client to sign the contract and to even give them a bigger contract. Victoria says, “If we would have been there we would have done better that is not really great. Now oil prices have gone up you could have got more. What did you do Abby use tour feminine whiles to get the increase?” Abby is upset and she leaves.

Gabriel tells them you are not going to get away with what you are doing to Abby.

In the hospital with Phyllis and Jack Phyllis says, “Squeeze my hand if Victor purposely shot you.” Jack squeezes her hand. Phyllis says, “OMG I have to call the police. Jack squeeze my hand if I should not call.” Jack squeezes her hand so she knows he does not want her to go to the police. Gabriel comes in and asks if he can sit with Jack for a while. We can hear Jack thinking, “I heard you made a deal with Marco [Peter Bergman] were you with him from the start? I know you are Victor’s son.”

Billy tells Victoria not to be so hard on Abby. Nick agrees they should back off Abby. Gabriel comes back to the office and asks where Abby is. Billy says, “Abby left because she was upset.” Gabriel tells Victoria, Billy and Nick they won’t get away with what they are doing to Abby.

That is it “The Young and the Restless” fans!  Do you think when Jack comes out of the coma he is going to believe Gabriel was not plotting with Marco from the beginning.  What is Phyllis going to do now that she knows Victor shot Jack?  What is Marisa going to do with the information she heard Summer and Noah speaking about?
